According to the article, the new owner had priors for “promotion of prostitution” in Oklahoma. Couple that with some LE observations and maybe they got a warrant for wire taps and/or email? Maybe he solicited via text, phone, or email. That alone is a crime.

…Fiedler, who is married with three adult children, was caught up in a prostitution bust carried out on Oct. 2, 2024, at Massage Ease…
Sounds like it was a raid. He very well could have fessed up to what he was up to, rather than keeping his mouth shut.
Not everyone is able to keep their cool when pressed by police.

If he fessed up he was arrested during the raid. Arrest warrant is based on evidence and probable cause after the raid. Missing a few dots in the plot.

I mean aren't we glad that these sort of people are fucked up and put behind bars?

Yeah, you’re right. A DMN article this morning said he turned himself in to police the day after his wife notified the church of his arrest.
Edit to add: WFAA provides a more detailed timeline. It does not appear he was arrested at the AMP.

So LE can get a warrant for hobbying at a parlor? That’s actually terrifying unless the pastor was doing something a lot worse. Also are these parlors recording everything? So many questions

As massage businesses they are subject to state inspections. The discussion linked in the post prior to mine gives some pretty good detail.

It’s interesting that no arrests were reported the day of the inspection. I wonder if the pastor had a “crisis of conscience” and confessed after the fact?

I had two massage sessions at massage Ease in September prior to change in ownership. Both L0 with no hint of extras. Otherwise there would be an arrest warrant for me too.

Maybe. As you noted earlier there are still a lot of blank spaces that need to be filled in to know why he wasn’t arrested on the day of the inspection. We don’t know if he was there at the time or not.

Thank you, TinMan!!
In the article from the Fort Worth Star Telegram, it states, “Fiedler was caught during a business inspection at a Carrollton massage parlor, according to a copy of the offense report obtained by The Roys Report.” I’m thinking he wasn’t caught in action, but confessed to LE while being questioned. Fielder isn’t arrested, but is allowed to go home to his wife. Immediately, he confronts her and confessed of what occurred; they decided to make a plan together for him to retire at the church of his medical diagnosis, and hoping to keep this confidential in the home.

Or, he didn’t confess when they raided the place, but decided to retire, citing the dementia diagnosis, and decided later (maybe after he was contacted again by the cops, maybe on his own volition) to fess up to what he has done.
He’s 72 and seemingly on that slide to losing his mind. I could see a guy like him deciding to unburden himself while he still has the ability to do so. We may never know, but I’m hoping if the cops had some additional evidence we eventually find out what it was.
