Kamala Harris Participates In A Historic Occasion.
She is the first Black, Female Presidential Candidate to certify the election of the Candidate who kicked her ass in a Presidential Election.
The “glass ceiling” has been broken with this historic event.
There is no word whether she as sober. If she was on the sauce, she would be the first Black, Female, Drunk Presidential Candidate to certify the election of the Candidate who kicked her ass in a Presidential Election.

Did she recite the Pledge of Allegiance to kick off the certification session?

Actually, she didn't get her ass kicked. Lots of folks here and in the media want to use the "mandate" word like it was a huge victory.
Fact is, Trump didn't even get 50% of votes. Enough to win, yes. An overwhelming majority..not even close.
That old man is going to die, and when he does we'll have President Vance. Probably as much a closet homo as Lindsey, with no experience that remotely qualifies him for the job. It's too early for me to move on it, but I see shorting the dollar in my future as these guys wreck the economy.
Not a single thing he's proposed will help the economy in the least. So all you dumpers remember that when inflation really goes out of control and/or the dollar tanks.

He garnered 49.7% of the popular vote. That's within spitting distance of 50%, ain't it?
It's also more than Bill Clinton received in either 1992 (43.0%) or 1996 (49.2%).
I'd definitely call it a mandate. I have no desire to quibble over whether it is "huge" or "overwhelming". The GOP retained a majority in the House and wrested control of the Senate, so they are clearly in a position to dictate the agenda.

Op failed to mention she did it with class and it was a peaceful transfer of power as it should be. Takes class and dignity to show up and certify an election she lost. Kudos to the first female vp we've had.

She did handle the proceedings smoothly... much better than anything she did as VP or Border Czar.

I can an imagine how humiliated she must feel.
And that’s good. After the despicable campaign she and all of her cohorts ran, she deserves ridicule.
A song she can relate too……

Anyway, I'm not going to give Harris credit for acting like an adult and doing the right thing just like the previous VP did. At least she didn't have a mob of MAGA retards threatening to kill her like Pence did when he was just doing his job just the same as she was.
