Default Unite the clans! But How and When?

Disclaimer: I am not a Doctor of any kind IRL or on the Internets

I have several liberal friends that are thrashing and lashing out in real life, in mental pain, ATM and I want to help them where I can. FWIW: They are not directing their anguish at me personally, as they know how I likely was watching the early vote results.

As I see it: We have an opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime to help them come to grips with reality and things like gravity. We need to know exactly when and how to seize it for the greater good for humanity. So let's crank it up...

As I see it, we only got one shot at this. But when exactly? How exactly? It seems as though the air freshener in their bathroom has expired and for the first time they are realizing that their shit actually stinks pretty badly.

What tips, tools, data and techniques can we share with them to use to show them the actual depth and breadth of the problem that they actually face?

How do we help get them beyond The Blame Game, aka Doom Loop, stage they are currently mired in? Watch it to the end. It will make sense.
Viewer Caution for adult language and depictions...

I'm not entirely sure. I'll share some thoughts herein this thread. Are there others?

Default Would showing them a relevant snippet help

I know the new "minority" is struggling to understand the depth of their problems. Seeing whereas I'm a data driven type, maybe showing the current 2020 to 2024 trend charts might help...

What about vote performance gains from 2020 to 2024 for Kamala over Biden?

Maybe those would help thaw their balls...

... or not.

Imma guessing this one might leave a skid mark in some shorts. Comparing counties in California from 2020 to 2024.

Did Enten@CNN just slam truth logs up the keester of the DNC machinations with this:

1. More states (49 + DC) swung in his direction vs. last election than anyone since 1992.
2. Best GOP showing w/ age 18-29 in 20 yrs, Black voters in 48 yrs, Hispanics in 52+ yrs.
3. Coattails: best GOP showing in House popular vote in prez year since 1928.

Check it out here That's gotta smart.

CNN’s Van Jones Admits Democrats Are “Idiots” in Hilarious Struggle Session After Trump Wins Historical Landslide

...Van Jones said Democrats are idiots with horrible ground game and admitted the mainstream media has lost its power (we already knew this).

“Here’s how we got beat,” Van Jones said. “We got beat because the Republicans and the conservatives built a different media system that had to do with online, had to do with podcasts, had to do with with streaming platforms and they were spending their money there.”

“We were making fun of Donald Trump for having thrown away his ground game and doing some weird stuff online. We thought that they were idiots. It turned out we were the idiots,” Van Jones said.

Another panelist chimed in and said the fake news media was laughing at conservative bloggers, Elon Musk and Charlie Kirk.

This is why the Democrats are fiercely working to censor conservatives online.

“We woke up in a body bag because while we were knocking on doors, they were making these phones into 24 hour a day political weapons for themselves,” Van Jones said.

“We got out flanked, outplayed, out beat by people who told us the whole time that they knew what they were doing,” he said...
WATCH: CNN’s Van Jones Admits Democrats Are “Idiots” However, it may just be wishful thinking or simply too soon, because at the same time - others are going full election denier:

“Threat to Democracy!” Kamala Supporters Begin Questioning Results of the 2024 Presidential Election – Some Call for Audits. Yes, Please!

After the results from this week’s Presidential election shocked Democrats across the country, following months of being told by disingenuous polls that Kamala was leading or neck-and-neck with President Trump in each of the swing states, some have begun to call for audits and investigations. The proverbial shoe is now on the other foot.

While Kamala has conceded defeat to President Trump and Democrat politicians have remained relatively silent in these calls, constituents have had a different sentiment and have taken to social media to insist something is amiss.

Thankfully, Elon Musk’s X platform, formerly Twitter, no longer censors people for questioning elections like they did in the lead up to- and following the 2020 Presidential election, as YouTube and many other social media entities did, often at the behest of the government, violating the First Amendment.

But what exactly are they calling for? These democrat supporters are playing from behind after years of denying overwhelming evidence of improprieties in the 2020 and 2022 elections.

Following the 2020 election, investigators began to collect data and evidence through open records request, including chain-of-custody (or in most cases the lack of), cast vote records, system log files, ballot images, voter rolls, grassroots door-to-door canvassing efforts, and any other piece of data they could get their hands on....
Basically, the claim is the GOP stole 20,000,000 votes in 2024 via hacked election machines.
Hmmm... that sounds eerily familiar somehow...

Meanwhile, in Fulton County, we learn that: 147,00 ballots had no signature verification in 2020 and should therefor be considered invalid.

Seems it is still too soon to be able to help them.

What is a landslide in your mind? Thankfully Trump won by enough that the banana republic tactics he used in 2020 are out the window.

Trump the politician did a better job of convincing just enough Americans that the present Administration was singularly responsible for inflation.

I think what will be very interesting is how the Trump visiting Biden in the White House meeting goes on Wednesday. I think there is some major friction between the Obsma, Clinton, and Biden factions of the Democrats in Washington DC.

Biden had a very good concession speech since his party lost the White House. Historically Biden had always been more of a moderate than what his administration governed policy wise. If the Biden's are really pissed at the Obama faction he may to save his legacy go to support moderates and undercut the extremist left wind faction of the Democrat party that has its hands on too much of the Federal Government.

...Drill-Baby-Drill, as in drill down the numbers of Republican gains at this CNN site There are maps for Presidential, Senate, House and Governors. From them, try drilling down in to California or even Illinois. Both are clearly blue states, but much less so in area size than you might think. Plus some others such as:

BTW: They called Arizona, pushing his electoral numbers to almost 30% more than Kamala's total.

...I'm guessing he is receiving a lot of congratulatory calls from everywhere, with each likely conveying the same sentiment: Let's Git 'er Done!

A LANDSLIDE in me-own mind is WINNING over 300 electoral votes.
And of course taking Senate control and holding the House.

How's THAT sound? ... ... See? surely would seem
that the clans are uniting already.
Though maybe we should ask the 40% oof so of Californians
who voted for President Trump... ...

Looks like most of the country is ready to unite around Trump. ...

Default A couple from the good news file

Quote:
HERE WE GO AGAIN: More Than Half of Kamala Harris Voters Want to Relocate After Trump Win

...More than half of Harris voters want to relocate following Trump win: survey

More than 50% of voters for Vice President Kamala Harris say they want to move following Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, according to a survey commissioned by StorageUnits.com.

Storage Units surveyed 1,837 Harris voters on Nov. 6 to determine how many would like to relocate – and who actually plans to – and the top concerns of those who voted against Trump.

Of those surveyed, 44% would like to move, but probably won’t, while 5% said they will definitely move and another 5% said they probably will. Those who would like to move, but probably won’t, cited personal finances, family and community ties as reasons they will stay in place.

Of the 10% planning to move or seriously considering it, 90% are looking into moving to another country, with the top choices being Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico. California, New York and Colorado were the top three choices for those considering moving to another state.

According to the survey, the top three reasons Harris voters want to relocate are concerns that a federal abortion ban will be enacted, an increase in racial inequality and progressive rights will be overturned...
Seems to me that would actually increase the ratio of the majority for the States they vacate.
Besides, aren't NY and CA already #1 & #2 in net emigration?

And then there's this:

Bill Maher Blasts the Left — ‘You’re Brats, and You’re Snobs, and People Don’t Like That!’

Be still my beating heart. But, I'm still not convinced they have achieved any meaningful introspection yet.

Default Incoming word of the day: Introspection

introspection /ĭn″trə-spĕk′shən/
noun
Contemplation of one's own thoughts, feelings, and sensations; self-examination.
from The American Heritage® Dictionary

For example:
Quote:
Brazile: Dems Need ‘Introspection,’ We Can’t ‘Pretend’ Trump Won Because He’s ‘a Better Liar’

Democratic strategist Donna Brazile said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that her party can no longer pretend President-elect Donald Trump won because he is a “better liar.”

Brazile said, “The truth is we should put it all on a table and have a great introspection as to what happened, what happened in New Jersey when Chris and I were sitting there on election night, and I’m looking at Chris like, Hey, what’s going on? What was going on in Minnesota? What was going on, of course, in Massachusetts and Rhode Island?”

She continued, “Trump improved not just his numbers in the battleground, which we were talking about on election night, three to four points. He also improved in inner cities, improve in outer suburbs. So it looks like Trump ran the 50-state strategy that the Democrats used to talk about. So we can talk about message and we can talk about the map. We can also talk about just, was 107 days enough?”

Brazile added, “All of this should be on the table. We’re going to have a lot of introspection. I want to say this – look, the Democratic Party, I was there eight years ago when Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. And we looked at ourselves and said, what the hell! We tried to stitch together the blue wall with Elmer’s glue. We needed duct tape and a lot more. We’ve got to do a better job of reaching the voters where they are and not try to make pretend that this was won simply because Donald Trump is a better liar.”

It's a process... moving at a glacial pace

Default Lets try to meet in the middle

Quote:
Gen. Michael Flynn Pens a Letter to the Radical Left: “The American People Are Tired of Your Sh*t”

...Democrats, if you’re wondering why America voted for Trump, allow me to explain:

The truth is, the American People are sick of your shit.

You ruined our nation and our culture. You openly mocked, belittled, and discriminated us, then called us racist, misogynist, Nazis when we started noticing.

You defiled and corrupted all of our great institutions, to include the media, social media, tech, academia, intelligence, health, pharma, Hollywood, entertainment, sports, EVERYTHING! You weaponized every aspect of American life, and used it to push your insane far-Left agenda down our throats.

You told us Trump was a Russian asset that was going to start WW3 and would be worse than Hitler. Then you used that as an excuse to justify hatred towards Trump supporters and to riot in the streets. You used it as an excuse to obstruct and ruin Trump’s entire first term, and it turned out it was all a lie.

Then during Covid, you demanded we all be forced to take medical experimentation without testing. You wanted dissenters locked in prison. You wanted <xxxxxxxx> taken from their anti-vax parents. You wanted the anti-vax in camps. You were rooting for our deaths. Then it turned out you were wrong about everything from the man-made origin, to masks, to vaccines, to social distancing, to ivermectin, to HCQ, to natural immunity, and everything in between.

Then during Ukraine, you told us that Ukraine was a bastion of Democracy, and that they desperately needed all of our tax dollars. Then it turned out that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations in the world, with literal Nazi military forces, and it was actually just a money laundering operation to steal from the American taxpayer. You want to defend Ukraine’s borders more than our own. You sent hundreds of billions of dollars on the other side of the planet, while Americans are suffering, all based on more lies.

Then there’s the whole Epstein, Diddy, human-trafficking element. You all told us VEHEMENTLY that human-trafficking was a myth, you told us the border was secure, and you told us that anyone who questioned it was an irredeemable & deplorable conspiracy theorist (and a piece of garbage). You said anyone who watched “Sound of Freedom” was a QAnon extremist and threat to democracy. Then it turned out to be true, and the elites really are engaged in unspeakable crimes against <xxxxxxxx>. After you all told us for decades this was not true. You covered up the most heinous crimes imaginable, for political gain.

I could do this for days, but I think you get the point. The American People are awake to the scam and the true evil going on around us, and we are not going to stand for it anymore. So we hired Donald J. Trump and his team of Patriots to rectify the situation, and bring America back to her greatness.

This is the reality of the situation. You are the bad guys, and you have been deceived. The sooner you wake up to it, the sooner you can join us in repairing this nation. Or you can choose to deny reality, and spend the rest of your lives consumed by hate, based on lies.

The choice is yours.

Signed: A True American Patriot

OK, OK. So it might be a bit harder than I originally surmised...

Default Common ground through the wisdom of the ages perhaps

First and foremost, common understanding can only be built on a rock solid foundation.
Quote:
Matthew 7:24-27
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
Starting with a solid mind set and a settled soul might be a great pursuit.
The below are two of my ATFs and should help reinforce the foundation to build upon.

Hat tip to desiderata.com
Quote:
Desiderata: Original Text
This is the original text from the book where Desiderata was first published.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

by Max Ehrmann ©1927
I suspect the biggest sticking point for the new "minority" will be:
<And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.>
They may not believe in reality or even gravity, but they both believe in us, like it or not.

Quote:
If by Rudyard Kipling
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream — and not make dreams your master
If you can think — and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings — nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And — which is more — you’ll be a Man, my son!
So Man Up!
