Well I find it very odd his daughter didn't seem too shook up. I don't know where you live in the Midwest but if it's Illinois they would let him sign himself out after being booked for Murder. That's not exactly tough on crime either.

The comment I saw from the daughter was that her dad died the same day and was no longer part of her life. My post was tongue in cheek but I also am appalled at letting violent criminals off easy.

Places like Illinois are slapping them on the wrist so much as promoting this no-bail-needed nonsense and making it illegal to carry things you need to defend yourself.

This myth that violence is only out of control within the borders of Democratic run areas serves to mask the reality that its out of hand everywhere on one level or another and trying to put people in prison for purchasing a blowjob is not any less dysfunctional.

I don't think we can solve much by just locking people up but for sure we can't let violent scumbags run the streets. This story out of Texas just makes me scratch my head.

... that is some shoddy workmanship on that news reporting production. It would have made a chite-ton more sense if the following video had been displayed in the lower right corner of the video and the sound playing lowly in the background during the airing of the segment.
