to give Hunter the benefit of doubt and say that he might
just come in and answer the questions. ...

My guess is he will if he has to. But why would it matter if he didn't? Would Hunter not testifying be worse than some other famous criminal not testifying? Honestly, who even testifies anymore?

LOL- ok, so it's fine for Hunter to testify, as he's not running for any political office, and the Comer Committee has no payments of significance- a 1400 dollar car payment), but if he's being pulled in front of that GOP farce of interrogation, he'd be an idiot.

I've seen fishing expeditions better veiled in the movie Jaws.

The morons running the show, seem to not be able to make more connections without his help..so with the 5th amendment in his pocket, why would he come in to talk to them when it will NEVER help him, but certainly could hurt him. I just don't see the positive outcome you are suggesting in this post.

Who cares? Republicans sure didn't care about offering testimony when they were issued subpoenas over January 6th. How is this any different?

That, of course, is a rhetorical question. Hunter's doing the exact same thing that trump and Gym Jordan et. al. did with their subpoenas. So, Republicans can suck on that for a minute.

Hunter Biden owes them nothing.

headed to prison. ... I remember a few years ago,
when a couple of Repubs - Bannon and Navarro come to mind
- ignored the "J6" Committee subpoenas, and when
President Biden was asked about that - he said
he surely hoped that those fellows would be held
"criminally responsible"...

Wonderin' what he thinks of son Hunter doing the same thing.

Or he could just tell them to shove their subpoena up their asses, like trump and Jordan (among others) did a few years back. Not sure why that's a card he couldn't play here. Worked for those others I mentioned.

Congress can't put anyone in jail, by the way. All they can do is recommend criminal charges be levied. Good luck with all that.
