It takes 5-10 million to drill a well, and the ppl who drill the wells are well aware that the law of supply and demand are in effect. Biden's ability to show very good economic numbers that exceeded almost 100% of our conservative sides predictions are demonstrative that while you don't like his success, it's surprised wallstreet and other indexes. The sky is falling mentality has been over stated and is literally a fear mongers tactic. We all knew that there would be an inflationary response to the FED raising rates to unbelieveable heights, but despite that, we are seeing more of that softer return, and time will tell if it's going to last or be a soft landing.

Also we didn't hear about women getting their snatchs' grabbed daily, or a mail guy who dissambling mail equipment a month before an election for POTUS. We didn't have a fucking entitle wench who was in charge of education and knew nothing about it. and we didn't have a guy who was a history major in charge of the economy. So yeah. In general...way better to vote for a guy who's ego isn't on the ballot, but rather the results are.

In some rural states, needing to drive dozens of miles to your nearest polling place IS an issue. It puts people who do not have a car, or can not drive (which is both the young and elderly) at a disadvantage and makes voting difficult for them. At no fault of their own.
What's ironic is that in the rural states, which are mostly red, do not want to make voting easier. Mail in ballots solve this issue and is the easiest way to get everyone to vote. Thing is, they don't want everyone to vote!
You should be able to vote by showing a state ID. Everyone can get a state ID. A drivers license, or a passport, or even an ID card that you got when you turned 18 before you got a license counts. If you can't get a state ID, then it is very likely that you aren't eligible to vote anyway.
Mail in ballots plus the need to show ID should be the norm, but they don't want that, because it'll make it easier to get everyone to vote. And they know that if EVERYONE votes, they'll be voted out.

I'm fairly certain that MOST of America would like to see more than the two current front runners in the primaries. What that tells me is the political system as we know it, is broken.

If there are no contenders worth voting for, either the system is broken or there truly are issues with how you can become a politician. The two party system is a ruse and is holding us all hostage to it's money backed mechanism of support. And it seems to be getting worse.

Imagine the likes or Santos 30 yrs ago being in office. Now he's just one of many who should have never been allowed to get to office, and yet there he is/was.
