I realize the $150K is in pounds, but still who pays for this?

When only fans came out I had to check it out, threw a few coins around and quickly tired of what I was getting for the $. There are several free sites and many free porn sites.

I think it's the obsession with specific girls, and the fact that they get to interact with them personally. A porn star you just get to watch on screen, you can't really do anything other than daydream about her, unless you fly to AVN and try to get her autograph at the convention center, but still no sex. But with Only Fans you can get a 1 on 1 webcam session or content tailored specifically to you. I think this is driving a population of guys who experience social anxiety or shyness for various reasons further underground. There was a documentary about a guy in Australia that paid this webcam girl thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars over multiple years for chatting and video sessions. She eventually flew from the USA over there to visit him, but it did not turn out very well for either of them.

I think because not every guy out there who wants a fuck has the confidence to meet a prostitute, or is willing to take the risk of possibly being robbed or arrested. The cops aren't going to bust down the door and place hand cuffs on your over a computer screen. Nor is a pimp going to pop out of the closet pointing a gun at you demanding your car keys, that just doesn't happen with a digital monitor instead of in person. Some guys who are risk adverse know this fact and that's where their comfort zone ends (too bad for them, not my problem).



By the same token you have other guys who have little experience interacting with women, and probably don't have the courage to meet up with one. The content may eventually get leaked, but some guys apparently are willing to pay for live 1 on 1 interactions with the girl, or personalized videos just for them. Maybe. maybe its a generational thing. what did people do before the internet. oh, i remember, they actually talked to girls, got shot down, got success, or went into the cave never to return until the digital age.
