For decades neighboring LE agencies engage in "mutual assistance" activities in which they conduct and engage in investigations and apprehensions in adjoining "jurisdictions" particularly when those activities require some level of nonuniformed presence. Sometimes those activities are formally organized as "task forces" and other times they are less formal and structured for isolated targets when there might be an opportunity for a "local" peace officer to be recognized if "undercover" work is involved.

Exactly my point Lex. I consider spring a neighboring area of MoCo hence the alert and area of concern. Hard to find much in those areas and when you do you have to be on high alert
