stuff does happen

One time I was on the way to a provider appointment. Texted I was on my way, got about halfway, and the car engine started overheating.......coolant leak ! A thought flashed that maybe I could just keep driving and make it......but big head prevailed and I stopped the car right away.
No appointment that day, but did make one successfully about a week later.


One provider made an appointment for an outcall.....nothing, got ghosted, no text or anything...several days later she texted she got into a serious car accident. When I saw her later on, she had the bruises to prove it.


So stuff does happen. Anyone with similar experiences ?

Totally agree, stuff does happen.

Last year I had a hearing and scheduled an appointment for two hours later. I had been down there for three other hearings already and was out within an hour both times. I figured I would have time to grab a quick lunch and head over to her incall. The hearing kept getting pushed, getting pushed, and finally three hours later the hearing started.

Things happen, but the key is communication. I was constantly in communication with her. It's the silence that drives me crazy.
