Default Tomorrow is never promised

Some of you may already know two weeks ago I moved away from KC. However I have a lot of friends in KC, and business to attend to, I come up to visit once or twice a WK.
My husband and I bought 7 acres down at lake of the Ozarks. Our family is big, but we figured 7 acres and with 6 children we would move all the kids out there, and our 4 grandkids.
We've been out there homesteading now for a little over two weeks.
I would like for all my friends to know I haven't moved away and forgot about them.
This past Thursday June 27th, we had encountered one of the worst nightmares. My 15 year old son and my 4 month old grandson passed away due to carbon monoxide leaking into the back of the car while they slept.
Services will be held July 11 2020. If anyone would like to attend their services, or would like to help with burial costs please inbox me for more details.
Everyone's thoughts, and prayers for my family would be much appreciated

I am so sorry. This is a worst nightmare. May your family have peace and comfort during this time. I’d be glad to make a contribution. Please be well, PM me or post where to contribute. Bless you and your family🙏❤️🙏

It happens more than you think. I know of several grandparents that are in their early 30's

Terrible news and it's not meant to be that parents bury their kids or grandkids.

A couple I know lost a teenage son to suicide and it has taken a long time to adjust....holidays are tough for them knowing the family is not complete anymore...they talk to each other quite a bit and extreme patience is routine knowing that sometimes emotions run high and things may be said or done in haste that aren't truly sincere words or actions.

Best wishes to you in these trying times

Kids have more access to things in electronics we didn’t as we were kids. I blame social media and easy access to info kids have at their finger tips for younger grandmas and grandpas nowadays.

I’m a full grown man. And when I have an advanced computer issue I ask my niece for help. She’s a nine years old computer wiz. Yeah children of today are a tad different......

That said I offer my most heartfelt condolences to the original poster. That’s a hard loss.

I wonder if it was in a poorly ventilated garage or area with little to no air exchange. Or if it was in a normal situation in clear space. I’ve taken a power nap on a lunch break in my car a day or two. Hearing stuff like this I won’t again.

This forum reminds me of Facebook sometimes. Ya know, when a bloke just says something for the likes — why else would they feel compelled to ask such rubbish during a moment of loss?

No grandparent should endure a tragedy like this. Regardless of age.

Bloody hell...

if a man with children marries a younger woman, and she accepts his original children as her own, you could technically have a grandmother aged 20 while the man is 40 and the child is also the step-mothers age.

There's a ton of different things that could be true in this case.

Prayers and strength your way. I know very well that loosing loved ones never gets easy, just more consistent as you get older.
