Power in the hands of little minded people - I know it condemns me to "Lose the argument"

However! reminds me of National Socialists brownshirts in the 1930's - Obey or you will be forced to obey!
Agreed- I refuse to set foot in kalfironia. Hope elon Musk moves his Tesla plant to Texas. Let kalifornia tax its illegals they love so much for state funds.

I'm really hoping the southern states that set the precedent for opening fair well so other states relax their slave reigns.

Me personally, I said I wasn't even going to mention the c word or comment on anything else about it because I'm just so sick of hearing and reading about it. But what I saw this article say three months more I was literally so shocked I had to let y'all know.

As always everyone act in whatever way they see is responsible and safe. But I'm just tired of this mess and I hope it doesn't affect our country too much longer. I don't want to become a third world country because people are afraid to take their asses outside but that's just me.

<in my best Rod Serling voice...> Sounds an awful lot like the Pennsylvania and Michigan governors recently. Obey or you will be forced to obey!

Link to many studies showing the infection fatality rate for those under 65 is approximately the same as the flu - about 0.15%.

We need to open up the country.

Although we have very little control over what the Government does. We do have control over ourselves. Keep abreast of what they are imposing, educate yourself on whatever it is they want you to fear and live with confidence and don't comply. That's how you win.

Elon Musk says he's opening the Tesla factory no matter what they say. Come arrest him and watch billions float off.

This is just a precursor when the NFL season starts. State and Local Officials will try to hold them hostage.

Why would you need to be an economist to know that shutting most everything down and keeping it down will lead to problems?

But you already knew that when you posted this.

It's what those on the left are wishing for. Economic failure.

The existence of liberalism is an intellectual failure of stupendous magnitude.

"The update to L.A.'s stay-at-home orders comes as officials try to meet two needs: restarting the economy under a new normal while also ensuring that the resurgence in activity doesn’t upend progress in the fight against the coronavirus.

There has a big push in recent weeks to reopen the state’s economy, which has been hurt by the stay-at-home orders. Newsom last week announced new protocols for retail stores and some workplaces to reopen."

i say let Kalifornica bleed their economy to death. i mean, the lives of a bunch of homeless bums, a few million illegals and some sick old people are more important that everyone else, right?

Musk has said the lock down was overblown and oppressive. he's being proven right and i'm not big fan the Muskhead. he's made some stupid decisions with Tesla. and while Musk was involved in starting PayPal it was Ebay that made him a billionaire. PayPal only made him a stinking rich millionaire.

I spent a lot of years in LA. I still have friends there. Luckily for a couple of them, they work in healthcare and they are busy. They have not been asked to take a pay cut. Others, not so much because they have been told to take a big 6 figure pay cut or to fuck off and either get furloughed or laid off.

I'm working on a severance with my job. I wanted to quit a long time ago. I hate it's because of this horrible virus, but I wanted to leave a long time ago so they will definitely meet my demands to end my contract. I just can't stay at a firm more that a few years before I want to leave. My time has already expired. It's time to go.
