Yeah, I just assumed that most pulled crooked shit like that.

There are some altruistic politicians who actually care about helping people and are not doing it for the crooked money. But for the most part, people higher up are just trying to fill their own pockets for themselves and family and maybe they actually care or don't care about the job they were elected to do.

I can't really blame them. They mostly deal with a lot of criticism. I would want to be paid extra for that hassle alone
