a chart
If Obama had inherited a robust America from the Republican President, then none of his stimulus spending would have been necessary. He didn't. He inherited a raped America. Now the same party that raped the budget for 6 to 8 years doesn't want Obama to fix things. They want him to fail so they can get back in power, and continue their crime spree. Do you really want them back in control of the House, the Senate, and the White House AGAIN?

I absolutely agree with longer on this one. You can't fight two conflicts for over 10 years the size of Afghanistan and Iraq and not drain the treasury. You can't pour billions into nation building and not drain the treasury. You can't have the largest fleet and the most expensive military development flops/projects in history and not drain the treasury. You can't spend billions to build a southern fence and equip it with thousands of homeland security nazi's and not drain the treasury!
Besides Mitch McConnell is so determined to see Obama fail and become a one term president that he and others who think the same way would crash the economy rather than compromise and risk seeing him elected again. Do I agree with alot that Obama has done, no. But just look at Mitch, he's a generational bigot who can't believe a black man got elected president and he's on a mission to do something about it.

President Obama wants to spend more money we don't have. I hope he fails, because if he succeeds in that, our economy will crash. I hope the Republicans fail, too. They want to keep spending more and more money. My little grandson already owes over $60,000 toward the National Debt. This is reprehensible.
I hope President Obama fails. I hope the Republicans fail. I hope the Democrats fail. I hope the USA wins. The USA will only win if all those other clowns fail.

That cute little chart fails to tell the whole story. It only addresses fiscal policy. And I don't think it is all that accurate. For example, the 2008 stimulus that Bush signed was at the request of the incoming President, so that may belong on the other side of the chart.
A major problem contributing to our collapse is the Fed's monetary policy, so the chart doesn't reflect QEI or QEII, and Ben Bernanke's other flights of fancy. These have taken place during the Obama Administration. Again, placing blame does no good. It needs to be fixed.

The fact that the Post projects the cost of ObamaCare at $152B over the course of eight years tell you all you need to know; it's bullshit. And it's hard to take anything seriously that posits a 'cost' of tax cuts when in fact we had record tax revenues during those years.
But that won't stop Longermonger. He needs our money.

You folks fail to understand that the majority of blue collar workers who are working, are working because of the Obama administrations support for rebuilding infrastructure, ie., bridges, roads etc. Ironically, these are the folks who are least likely to support Obama thereby cutting there own throats. He's spent enormous sums to avoid a total financial system collapse and a collapse of the auto industry among others. The bank was empty when he took office. No body likes the idea of big government but deal with it. Do I like it, no. Is it efficent, no. But without it Americans will get bent over by every tom dick and harry inclined to do so. It's a fact proven. Oh, and I won't go into the health care crap because it's so simple a moron should get it. ONLY CONGRESS HAS GUARANTEED HEALTH CARE! Just fuc n deal with it.

Yes, future generations are being handed a real bucket of shit! They'll never realize the livelyhoods our fathers and perhaps we have had and we're handing them an environment that's on the verge of collapse. Boo Hoo! Fuc em as Kshunter would say. Should have taught sex ed in schools. Regardless, they'll be no smarter because we've dumbed down our educational system to the point where kids (and they're parents) can't think for themselves any more and can't compete in a global economy because they think intelligent design is a science.

If I recall correctly, it was Secretary Henry "Mr. Goldman-Saks" Paulson who said the a bailout was needed ASAP (or words to effect). In essence: "Trust Me." I don't think Obama qualifies as being the one who demanded the bailout in 2008. Correct me if I''m wrong (and I'm sure someone out there will, but, it makes for more spicy conversation as we go rolling along). Six more days to shutdown or compromise.

Well, yeah. It was Henry Paulson, which is why so much of the money went to Goldman Sachs. But I recalled that President Bush and President-elect Obama worked together on this. It's possible I am wrong. Outside the bedroom, I am sometimes less than perfect.
