Where was Nancy when Bill and Hillary went on an excellent adventure to China. Bill drew so much inventory and money from the military that the annual drill in Korea was cancelled. I'm thinking some people don't actually understand the ruling of the SCOTUS. It's certainly a win for Trump, but doesn't end the case as is being portrayed by the OP.

They have not yet said whether Trump does or doesn't have the power to do this in the end. Pelosi is absolutely correct in that the actual case is still going through the appeals process and I have no doubt that she and her House Dems will continue the fight.

All the SCOTUS said so far in a very very brief ruling was that the people calling for the injunction that was issued to stop the funding being used during the appeal did not have standing and therefore threw out the injuction. This by default allows Trump to continue with the funds usage during the appeal process.

But on the positive, this ruling does bode well when the case finally does reach them if it does.

But it ain't over til it's over and this was certainly not the final ruling.

The issue is not wether or not congress has appropriated funds for defense. It has.
The president still has some discretion in how it gets spent.
An argument can be made that strong border control is essential to national security, especially in the age of lone wolf terrorists who are bound together by ideology.
