I can see where you are coming from.

But, I guess the question is, are the users here for the forum? Or does the forum exist for its users?

I think both. Of course, there are guys who come here and milk everything for what it’s worth and don’t give back. Then again, they don’t make friendships nor do they see the ROS.

I’ve been a member of several hobby forums. Eccie is my absolute favorite though.

In my very first outing, I got robbed. Back then, I didn’t know about the forums, and I tried going solo. Look where it got me.

When I first started out using forums, I was hitting Amsterdam for a day before going enroute to some unnamed, third world shithole. I read the reviews, and listened to advice.

I had a map of the three RLDs there, with leads of who to see and who to avoid during the day and night shifts. I also learned what scams they like to run there.

On my second visit, the girl tried to scam me. Thankfully, because of the forums, I was able to avoid it.

I wouldn’t say that I’m an experience hobbyist. I’m still a beginner. But, I had to pick a random girl off STG, I would be terrified.

I’m not sure I could do it. If I get arrested, it’s game over for me. I lose everything.

I think you made my point better then I did, our past experiences is what has given us an understanding of what to be careful of, and also what has given us the confidence for a go-for-it moment, I think the females here can easily sense that in their communication with a forum first timer, (but they also may need the money) and that can lead to a bad judgement call. The girls in that list may-be newbie friendly but that don’t mean they want to jump in the bed with someone who has had an account for two years or is a new account, someone who has not went to the welcome area forum too introduce themself to the forum, someone who has not reached out to other experienced members,,,talking with other members in private can go a long way towards being a good candidate for the newbie friendly girls. either way I think that is a big risk for them and maybe we should not push a date on them just because they will see new guys. A toftt story is usually an epic story and those of us who are experienced (guys and gals) can relate. Lol, he needs a good story!! And BTW, a run in with LE for me would also be devastating, but we’ve all had to make calculated risk.

Seeing UTR’s are not going to do anything for my review count. Can’t put up a review on a UTR.
