This is solely on Trump.

The House passed resolutions to end the shutdown. McConnell won't bring those resolutions to a vote in the Senate, more than likely because he knows there might be enough Republican Senators (4+) who will support the resolution and it would be sent on to Trump to sign or veto. Trump will then veto, unless he is once again lying.

While I agree that she lied as it seems obvious that the congresslady in question deserved to be on that committee...there are degrees of lies. But you are correct, it does appear she lied.
