As the article states, the purpose of the investigation was two-fold -- to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 election and to look into possible collusion between President Trump's campaign and Moscow.

I think it was important to complete the investigation if only to look into the first part, Russian meddling in the 2016 election. From the start I said I doubted Trump personally did anything wrong. Some of his staff may have done some things that would be deemed inappropriate by many but hardly illegal.

So I for one won't be surprised at all if Trump and his team are found innocent of any wrong doing.

What are the odds that if the Mueller Investigation fails to turn up anything nefarious against President Trump that the entire Left will turn on him.

After all, this entire charade was instigated for one reason, to nullify the 2016 Presidential election. If that does not happen, will there be a call to appoint a Special Council to investigate the Special Council.

I wonder if Martha Raddatz will cry again.
