Default What's It Like at the Border Recently

I have a trip to San Diego planned for next month, and am seeking some intel on what things are like at the border recently. Wanting to spend some time in Zona Norte while in SD! With all the caravan and border crashers we're hearing about, thought I'd like to know what the SD regulars have experienced lately.

They were there on my last trip to tj in early December. It didn’t really affect the border crossings at all. The only piece you’ll see is a few tents set up. Also, each day the police will escort the migrants from the housing area to the border to wait in line and “protest”. Around 5pm, they walk them back as a group.

Most residents of tj are getting tired of the press as it’s hurt tourism a bit.
