Default Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - The stupidest of the stupid.

What a moron. She is the biggest idiot to come along yet. She lost credibility when she said the 3 branches of government are the Presidency, the Congress and the House.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Paul Ryan Called 'Genius' While I'm 'Fraud' https://news.yahoo.com/alexandria-oc...wer&soc_trk=ma

On the other hand - hope she keeps speaking out - Trump will be elected in a landslide victory.

She is a American hero and represents everything that America is about. She may be president someday. Trump will never be re-elected and may not finish his first term. Only the lowest of low, racist, homophobes, criminals and uneducated rednecks still support Trump. His base is America’s worst just as he is America’s worst also.

Wrong on both accounts. She is a socialist, no matter if she puts the word democratic in front of socialist. That's very opposite of what America is actually or should aspire to become.

Trump is a dumbass, however many very smart people who aren't racist, or criminals still support him. Some may only do so because they think the alternative is much worse. That kind of says something though.

She probably will lose her seat next term. I don't see her getting even close to sitting behind the desk in the Oval.

I do however appreciate her shining some light on the freshman orientation.

If we are honest we all are socialist and support socialist programs. Deplorables bitch but are the first in line for unemployment checks when they lose their jobs, social security checks, Medicare when they are old enough and I am sure they won’t turn down healthcare for all when those bad socialist improve our healthcare.

The republicans would take all of these safety nets away and give the money saved to the top 1 % in the form of more tax breaks.

Wake up and pay attention, think and set aside prejudices, you may find that voting republican is hurting you not helping you.

Healthcare - Quote - "you can keep your doctor and it will be less expensive." Obamacare included some good things- particularly coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. The major insurance companies were cherry picking patients to maximize profits.

Overall -more expensive, poorer access, and a mountain of awful, pointless regulations. Among them - one can only sign up for healthcare during specific short periods of the year - Miss it- and You are out of luck for the year or more.

You can keep your Socialist Healthcare. My brother in Canada waited a month in hospital for a cardiac cath that would have been done the day of admission in the US.
And- the House and Senate have their own private Healthcare plan - guaranteed better than what Pelosi and Schumer are selling to the country.

The usual DPST Hypocrisy.

Not trying to Hijack thread. Socialized healthcare is part of AOC's platform.

Well said. I don't know about her not being re-elected in 2020 but she is hardly the future of the Democratic party. Every once in a while a nut case somehow gets elected to public office. Sometimes even POTUS.

I hear this nonsense all day, so I'll ask you. What exactly is it about Trump that you Liberals hate so much?
Is it that your 401k is earning money?
Is it that the unemployment rate is low?
Is it that there's 7.3 million jobs?
Is it because he wants to secure our borders?
Is it that his tax cuts is putting more money in your paycheck?
OR
Is it that he's not a career Politian, and he has the balls to tell the Liberals to "shut the fuck up I'm running the show now".

So, tell me what exactly don't you like about the guy.

PS: If voting for him AGAIN in 2020 makes me a "racist, homophobe, criminal and uneducated redneck", then I'm quilty as charged, and FUCKIN PROUD OF IT.

I can't answer for liberals but we Libertarians hate his huge fiscal deficit.

Almost all those positive things you mentioned are off the backs of borrowing away the money of future generations.

What parent would brag about a vacation that they charged to their grandkids?

Your damn right, Republicans keep saying they are the party of fiscal responsibility but they are really the party of tax cuts. Tax cuts can goose the economy in the short term, which they did in 2018, but they absolutely screw the deficit and add to the national debt.

Cutting taxes should only be done when you have more revenue than expenditures. And then only when you start paying down your debt.

No, I don't think anyone voting for Trump either in 2016 or 2020 is a racist, a homophobe, a criminal, or an uneducated redneck.

Why I would never vote for Trump? First all his character, or lack thereof. There is a reason why his approval rate has not hit an overall 50% since he's been in office, the worst of any president in history. He is an egomaniac, a narcissist, a person who can not take criticism, a man who resorts to demeaning any individual who has the audacity to criticize him in any way, a president who has had historic turnover in this cabinet and supporting cast because very few can tolerate working for him.

Now let's talk about his accomplishments while in office, which have been discussed several times in other threads. No repeal/replace of Obamacare. No wall. No immigration policy except for not wanting people from "shithole" countries . Tax reform which primarily benefitted the rich and corporations. Lowest approval rating in other countries of any POTUS in history. Implementation of tariffs that have stocks down this year. Cost of Living rising. Only 45% of people polled think the economy will be better one year from today than it is today, most pessimistic outlook since 2001.

I will repeat what I've said in other threads. There is a reason, or reasons, why Democrats did much better in the 2018 mid-term elections than Republicans. And it starts and ends with Trump.

You are not allowed to be a Libertarian WTF. If you oppose or criticize Trump you are considered a liberal or even worse a socialist by the Trump supporters. A remember when Trump actually said he would negotiate a better deal on our debt. In Trump speak that means not pay it

As for the Democrats ding so well in 2018. One word. Senate.
Republicans lost about 40 seats in the House. Lost 7 governorships. Saw several state legislatures turn blue or purple. Beto O'Rourke lost to an Cruz by less than 3 points whereas Cruz won by 15 points in 2012. Democrats picked up 2 House seats in Texas.

Republicans picked up 2 Senate seats and still lost in heavily Republican Montana and West Virginia. Lost Nevada. Lost Arizona.

So in all honesty, which party do YOU think did better in the 2018 mid-term elections?
