Default Early voting for Texas State senate seat

Early voting starts tomorrow for the Texas state Senate seat " vacated" by LYING, CHEATING, CONVICTED FELON Dumbascrap party member Carlos Uresti. Uresti will be trading his " seat in the big house " ( the Texas state Senate ) for a seat IN THE BIG HOUSE with an new orange wardrobe.
Looks like it's time to vote " early and often " since the Dumbascrap party candidate to fill the seat is none other than FAILED Congressman Pete " lemme get my SNOOT into ANOTHER public trough " Gallego. He, who as a Congressman, voted for EVERY tax increase that could be placed on the citizens of Texas by Nattering Nancy Pelosi, odummer and the rest of the LYING LIBERALS in Washington. Will Hurd showed him the door OUT of the U.S. Congress !!!!! AMF Pete

I've never understood why so damn many places allow early voting? What's so bloody hard about saying to all work places "X DAY is voting day, everyone gets off for that day to go vote"!????

Early voting allows the voter to avoid the long lines on election day. I usually vote at the local Randall's grocery store sometime early-on. Walk in and 5 minutes later walk out. The lines on election day can be outrageously long.

I remember getting election day off a long, long time ago. But only for the presidential election. Giving everyone in a company a day off costs the company a lot of money. My company's policy if I remember correctly was that if an employee couldn't find time before or after work to vote, they would somehow accommodate you so you could vote.

Some people have jobs that don’t allow them to leave on Election Day, garkhal.

It’s all about making it possible for as many people to vote as possible, not as few. Wouldn’t you think that telling all work places what to do is somewhat SOCIALIST?

Do you also support the poll tax?

And as an aside, what about Pete Gallego’s record before he was in Congress, Rey? Do you know anything about that? You might have more rude , nasty names to call him if you did a little research!

Do you know what the Texas Senate does?

LOL!

Senate District 19:

Quote:
District 19 of the Texas Senate is a senatorial district that currently serves all of Brewster, Crockett, Dimmitt, Edwards, Frio, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Pecos, Real, Reeves, Terrell, Uvalde, Val Verde, Zavala counties, and portions of Bexar and Atascosa counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The seat has been vacant since June 21, 2018, following the resignation of prominent San Antonio attorney Carlos Uresti following fraud charges[1]. Uresti had held the office since November 12, 2006.

District 19 is one of the largest legislative districts in the United States, containing all or part of 17 counties and covering more than 35,000 square miles and about 400 miles of the Texas-Mexico border. The district contains 55 public school districts, more than 23,000 oil and gas wells, 10 state parks, three national parks, and more than 2,700 miles of highways and interstate transportation infrastructure.[2]

... and untold number of illegal aliens who will be allowed to vote.

And then there's the policy of the LYING LIBERALS to allow the " absentee " cemetary voters to vote, by proxy , but ONLY if they vote for the Dumbascraps !

I think the most famous cemetery was in Zavala County.

And here's an anecdotal tale of the Democratic Party "in the day"!

Quote:
A legendary tale that is attributed to Johnson in this infamous race claims that in the days following the election, while garnering enough votes for victory, Johnson and the political bosses of the Valley counties were going through cemeteries and taking names of dead Mexicans off of tombstones to register as voters. They could not decipher one of the names and asked Lyndon what to do. Johnson quickly replied, give him a name, he’s got as much right to vote as the rest of them in this cemetery do.

LBJ was only "bested" by JFK.

FIFY

We wouldn’t want to have any foreign intervention in our elections right?

Yes, I think a poll tax makes sense to defray the cost of the salaries and equipment.

Strange. EVERY time i've gone to vote on election day, i've barely seen more than a dozen people in line to vote.. So where are these "long lines" i keep hearing folk mention?

Yssup. IF they are illegally in the country, how are they legally authorized to vote?
