Thanks for the link Huck. What's even worse is it appears the OP continued to repeat the same behavior after having been in trouble before. Just sayin', "Stupid Is as Stupid Does"

Interesting to see the thorough screening methods of some really fine traveling friends who have visited here lately (and our handful of thorough locals we can trust) compared with some of the new younger BP crowd that has infiltrated here in the past year. . . .

For those that don't screen and don't trust, I'd just as soon they go back to BP and stay there.

Hooooooooold the phone. No sir, there was NO screening done here. Looking at a "work I.d." AFTER someone has arrived is NOT screening. Not even a little! If that were screening, you could make up anything with an ink jet printer and call it "employment verification".

I feel empathy for anyone who gets into a situation like this. But let's not make the mistake of labeling this something that it isn't. This is a simple case of a lady not screening and getting busted in exactly the same way that every other lady has ever been busted. Just not smart.

I agree with you urhuckleberry, reading her post alone made my head hurt. First off, punctuation should be your friend when posting threads.
And second, No she didn't screen and has never really screened. (shaking head)
Maybe she will finally get the message after that bust.....(maybe, maybe not).

Everyone should do their best to stay safe in this crazy little world we are playing in. Screen and verify the ones you chose for a date. Just my 2 cents...

le has got past the 99 % of the screening here as well. its not its not safe no matter who u are and no matter how much screening u do. nothing is 100 % nowdays but screening is better then nothing . (screening aka we all know how most providers screen on here )

Screening is only good if the references you get are from reputable trusted people..

Screening is only good if one not only relies on written info but more importantly their gut

Screening is only good if providers do what we always encourage hobbyiest to do.. but in our case its a little different.. that is.. providers need to think more with the head on their shoulders and not their pocket book.. every dollar is not a good dollar to be made.

And most importantly..there are many little quirky things that can be done to "feel safe".. cute phone apps won't work if guys/le are using hobby phones.. hell it wouldn't work on my personal cell phone considering that the phone i use is with a major carrier but NOT in my name.. NOT to my home address.. hell its not even in the state i actually have my drivers license in....

In the end.. LE is nabbing people in LR because of greediness, carelessness, cattyness, underhandedness, CI's, people not taking their lumps and implicating others to cover their own asses like little bitches.. other than that.. I can't think of any other reason LE is getting people lol

Every little bit helps, I had someone call today when I ran the # out of curosity through the "cute" app, it had been flagged not once but TWO times by 2 different people as an undercover detective. So I'll keep the app and continue screening like hell. Like I said every bit helps.

It doesn't hurt as an added screening tool, HOWEVER anyone stupid enough to rely solely on a phone app, well, that speaks for itself
