Ohio 12th Congressional District
This is a political forum and no one has mentioned the voting from last night?
In Ohio's 12th Congressional District, Republican Troy Balderson is leading Democrat Danny O'Connor by less than 1% with the outcome still undecided. While I expect Balderson to win, this is a district that has been controlled by Republicans since 1980 I believe, a district that Trump won by 11 points in 2016, and a district that Republican Pat Tiberi won by 37% in 2016. Republicans poured a great deal of money into the race, much more than would have been expected in such a race, and President Trump went to the district to campaign for Balderson and might possibly have tipped the scales in Balderson's favor.
Some interesting commentary last night. A Republican analyst said that results from a special election can't foretell what will happen in November when Balderson and O'Connor will face off again. Fewer Republicans tend to vote in these special elections. Another Democratic analyst said there will be a blue wave in November, but it will be one of three types of waves:
1. Democrats gain several seats in the House but not enough to take back control.
2. Democrats gain enough seats to take control of the House, with a few seats to spare.
3. Democrats win a huge plurality in the House.
48 House seats are considered "competitive" in 2018. 41 of those seats are held by Republicans; 7 by Democrats. Democrats need to flip 24 seats to take control. Should be an interesting time leading up to November.
BTW. the final poll for the Ohio 12th district had Balderson up by 1 point. Result so far -- Balderson by 1 point. Sometimes polls are very accurate..

Twitler wasted no time in personally Tweeting credit for the outcome last night. And, of course, he exaggerated the shit out of it. Without his presence, Balderson might have had an easy go of it,
Gov. Kasich said Balderson didn’t invite Twitler to the rally.
Twitler’s visit made an impact, but apparently it was a negative one for the Republican in a solid red district that hasn’t had a Democratic congressman in decades.
Bad night for the GOOP.

A Republican won a traditionally Republican district, and there will be another election for the same district in November 2018.
So what's to mention?

I was hoping to get other people's opinions on that small margin of victory. Is it significant in the overall picture of the upcoming November elections? Or does it have no meaning at all?
There are many articles out today with various people's opinions on the significance of this one election.
Maybe get some predictions on the November elections.

The GOP spent more than $5 million on that race and apparently eked it out, where it should have been a cakewalk.
I think they're as nervous today as (certain creatures) at an Aggie pep rally afterparty.

That would be a lie, you Mussulman-luvin, Hitler worshipping, lying, hypocritical, racist, cum-gobbling golem fucktard, HDDB, DEM, but no one expected anything different from you.

According to media buyers and party sources, Democratic nominee Danny O’Connor spent $2.4 million on the air, while Republican nominee Troy Balderson spent a bit less than $600,000.

So let's put this in perspective. HRC was supposed to win by ten million to zero per the POS FBI agent and yet Trump is POTUS. So now the left wants to take solace in another loss that was very close but still a loss. You keep licking your wounds and trying to spin a loss into a positive and we'll keep racking up the victories. You fucks will not get the house or the senate this fall and Trump will serve 2 terms as POTUS.

How much was spent on Balderson’s campaign as of the last reporting period, which BTW, wasn’t yesterday? Is it reasonable to believe that no more money was spent on his campaign in the last week-10 days? Especially considering g the polls?
You have no clue how this shit works, IBIDIOT. Your feeble rants bear that out.
That doesn’t necessarily make you a liar. It absolutely makes you a fucking idiot.

Everyone please take note of how the lying, Mussulman-luvin, Hitler worshipping, hypocritical, racist, cum-gobbling golem fucktard, HDDB, DEM didn't cite a substantive source to support his lie or refute what was reported by WaPo.
