Wink More trouble in OAKLAND Mexifornia !

From NBC BAY AREA : Coffee Shop in Oakland Refuses to Serve Police Officers , by Sergio Quintana

A controversy in brewing at a coffee shop in Oakland, where police officers are not welcome.
The business, called Hasta Muerte Coffee, will not serve officers in uniform and turned away an officer a few weeks ago. The shop is an employee-owned coop.
Workers at Hasta Muerte did not respond to requests for comments on the policy to refuse service to police officers.
But on the shop's Instagram account, there's a photo posted with text that reads in Spanish : " Talk to your neighbors, NOT the police. " The post continues about an exchange with a uniformed police officer on February 16th and very clearly it states " We have a policy of asking police to leave for the physical and emotional safety of our customers and ourselves. "
The Oakland Police officers Association sent the shop a letter, asking to open a dialog about the policy.
The sergeant who was turned away from the shop a few weeks ago said he was surprised but walked out without incident and without coffee. He said he's looking forward to talking to the shop owners and building a better relationship with them and the community.
Hasta Muerte, which means Until Death in Spanish, is located in Oakland's FRUITVALE district.

FROM the Clinton News Network on the same story : The sergeant involved is the president of the Latino Police Officer's Association of Alameda County.

More of that " sanctuary city " policy that the Mayor of Oakland, Nancy " Mow MY yard " Pelosi AND WTF, is all for ! Guess the police should have sent a " HISPANIC " swishy-walker police officer to the shop ! Then the shop COULD NOT HAVE REFUSED SERVICE ! Like the Colorado baker's found out the hard way !
And mebbe the police officers can catch a case of " Blue Flu ' if the place is ever robbed or has any other need for police service !

Where’s the link?

Was it too much trouble for you Gey Rey, or did you doctor the story?

Just picked the dingleberries out of it, didn’t you.

Don’t you wish there were coffee shops in San Antonio like this?

Bo-RING!

Sad little redneck.

That is one issue that somewhat amazes me about the rejection of Feinstein by the Democratic Party of California ... when she was running for mayor of SF she promised the "gay community": not to get rid of the torture chambers and bath houses (breeding aids!); not to target gays openly having sex in the public parks (actually heterosexual couples were also); and she would install a "gay" chief of police. She won. She did. Perhaps she spent too much time in reality.

As long as it is not based on a "protected class" they can. The police pushing this issue is as bad as the gay couple insisting that a particular bakery ought to have to make them a wedding cake. The gay couple may have a "legal" point, but the cops don't.

I'll leave the dingleberry picking to YOU and the rest of the reach-around crew, since YOUR KansASS area Gloryhole " manager " is THE Junior world Champion Dingleberry picker. And since HE has presented YOU with a " marketing angle " stolen directly from the Folger's Coffee Company ads,MOUNTAIN GROWN, since he does his D'berry picking in the KansASS " mountains " ! Has shrilLIARy been sent any more free samples to " field test ' TV screens with ???
Are YOU to lazy to look at the stories in the sites that are listed in the story AND REFUTE WHAT THE STORY SAYS ? SHOW ME WHERE I DID LIKE YOU LYING LIBERALS DO AND EDITED ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORIGINAL STORY, Mr. DOTY 5 TIMES AND CURRENT DOTY CROWN HOLDER ! BRING IT ON ! And mebbe YOU can open a GLORYHOLE franchise out in that GAY BAY area to provide all of those uptight swishy-walkers some of YOUR type " therapy " since they are so upset about the police ! Think of what THAT would do for YOUR D'berry wine sales !

May be AssUp wants to cite the OakHead MexiaForina story in Austin to justify the gay coffee shops he frequents from allowing LE visits to keep down the sucking and fucking in the booths.

Rey: Look at it as a public service to the Austin Community.

Well they should not be able to refuse service to anyone there legally and not doing anything illegal.

Should not is my opinion and not a legal thought.

IMHO all humans should be a protected class that are treated with respect until they do something otherwise.

So, the police, who are required to respond to any armed robbery calls or other requests for service ( since all of the taxpayers, citizen's AND companies, are told that is what part of what their taxes are collected for ) can't inspect the facilities to learn the layout of the commercial property OPEN TO THE PUBLIC BEFOREHAND ( in the event of a hostage situation ) or to get to know the business owners problems or to establish a good working knowledge of their patrol area ? Since most city building inspectors - fire and health code -have the force of law behind them, should they be banned from entering the premises also " for fear of upsetting the customers and staff " ???

That's bullshit and you know it. The bakery didn't refuse to serve the homos they just wouldn't bake a cake specifically for a gay wedding. When the coffee shop is robbed or a disturbance is happening who they gonna call? Ghost busters? The cops should tell them to fuck off when they need help.

My opinion is, as for you as a businessman as well as anyone else, you should be able to provide product and service to anyone you wish or deny it to anyone you wish so long as it does not violate the existing standards prohibiting discrimination based on religion, race, gender, etc.

Many businesses like to have patrol officers come in and around their establishments for community and safety reasons so they give them discounts or free food and drink (nonalcoholic of course), but some LE began to think that's some sort of "right" they have and actually ask for discounts! On the other hand some businesses, because of their customer base, don't want uniforms or badges hanging around. Just like some businesses don't want shirtless, shoeless folks coming inside and potentially offending their regulars or regulars to be. (Also wet bathing suits!)

If this coffee shop has an "active shooter" situation (like the Florida school did after prohibiting officers from making arrests at the school), then hopefully they won't complain when LE doesn't rush inside and risk their lives trying to save the owner! But he'll (or his widow will) bitch!

Actually it's not bullshit. You obviously have reading comprehension difficulties so I'll repost what I posted:

Quote:
as bad as the gay couple insisting that a particular bakery ought to have to make them a wedding cake.
... the cops are obligated to respond to robberies or public disturbances as their sworn duty in the community .... the coffee shop has NO DUTY TO SERVE THE COPS!

BTW: "The issue" in the bakery shop case is does the 1st amendment TRUMP the 14th amendment as it relates to discrimination and codified by Congress. Religion vs. Discrimination.

If the cop was a "homo" (as you refer to them) and is refused service based on sexual preference grounds, then the coffee shop would be wrong, as a violation of law. That's not what the bakery was doing and the owners said so.

Do you think the cops should tell hookers to fuck off when they get "robbed" or have a "disturbance" at their incall or outcall? Or is your prejudice based on "Mescan" establishments only?

(For the stupid on here ... the quotes around "Mescan" means how folks refer to them when not calling them "Wet Backs" ... and those are not words of my preference!)
