Hobby? It seems to stay relevant with references etc that hobbiest must hobby often. I have been told references are only good for 6 months. While I understanding the reasoning, I figure if someone is good, they are good. It wouldn't matter if you've seen the provider once 3 years ago or once last month, as long as you continue to hobby.

Maybe the question I need to ask is; how long in between hobby is considered too long? I know this could be vage pending situations, such as real world relationships, money, etc.

In my opinion if someone hobbies, then gets married and hasn't hobbied for a year, he should t have to start all over. Am I right or off base?

You might like P411 a little better than using references, if you're not already a member. There you get "okays" which are like references but they don't expire, although they are dated so a lady can see how long it's been since they were received.

I'd say a little off base (and I mean no offense by that) about not starting over after a year. One reason is that unless something particularly memorable happened, a lady might just not remember you after that long, and would be doing a disservice to whomever she was giving a reference to by giving one if she truly doesn't remember the person being inquired about.

If it's a lady who gives someone a shot as a newbie, she likely doesn't want to be regarded as only a stepping stone and give a permanent reference to someone who never makes it back to her.

I'm not saying either of those things apply to you, just that there are reasons why references go stale.

Edit: Didn't answer your question: About 2-3 times per month, on average. Sometimes less, sometimes more. So I really don't have to worry about references but I don't anyway because I'm on P411 with 30 okays, so there generally isn't anything I need to provide other than that. P411 does cost money but it might be worth it in your situation.

I agree. P411 might be better for me. I'm a member of TER and when I travel, have no issues with TER, however it hasn't worked in my favor locally. I probably average once a month over the course of a year.

Do any of you get hassled by new providers on when you've seen your last? I say I average a dozen times a year, but like Mr. Smith, I'll go 3 months without seeing anyone and make up for.

I just feel that when I am asked for references and I provide those references, I don't expect someone to say, "oh, well that's too long ago, it doesn't count." No matter how long it's been.

Every lady has her own set of rules. Over 5 years, I've averaged about 1.5 times per month. But I may go many weeks or a month or two without an opportunity or review. 34 oks on P411 is an awesome back up plan. Some may get old but they don't expire and when you see a lady again, she can update to a more recent date. Worth the money. What can change in a year? Every damn thing in this world.

You may occasionally run into a lady you want to see who isn't on P411 but is on eccie. Hasn't happened often to me but I can remember one time, although the lady became a P411 member later.

It is fun for some of us to interact with the ladies and other clients on the board, but if that doesn't interest you and your sole reason for being on eccie is booking ladies there might not be a need for it in addition to P411. I don't see many ladies that are new to me anymore but when I do I'm more likely to make the initial approach on P411 rather than here.

Because the two boards serve two different purposes. You won't get much of a sense of a lady on P411 like you will here. No posts, no interaction unless you pm her. Besides, this board is free and if you write some reviews you get the invaluable ROS for free. They are complimentary boards, not either/or. Use both.

Good point, the review ROS is an excellent reason to be a member here. Tremendously helpful in your decision making. Also agreed on the interaction with the ladies.
