I hate it when that kind of thing happens! Such a pain..

Years ago, I forgot my phone was in the pocket of my bath robe and threw it in the wash.

Didn't realize it until I heard it banging around in the dryer.

Been there done that. I would suggest placing your phone before power on in a bowl of rice and letting sitting overnight. Some times you can get lucky.
