With escorts.com closing down at the end of the month how can upstate NY get the info flow about providers and when they are in our area??

I am actually in conversations with several of the ladies from E.com about moving over here as a resource for themselves to use. Once a couple of them know about it, most of them will find out... I would bet that before long we will be seeing an influx of ladies to this board. They all seem to mention the "drama" that they hear about that goes on here... but like always, I just tell them this is a great place to be when involved in this hobby, and that the sharing of information, helps make this hobby much safer for everyone... When you see them sign up, please welcome them...

Wonder if ECCIE can work out a "daily" type advertising like E. I mentioned something like this in another post.

Or allow us to update our weekly ad once a day so no over bumping.. Other boards allow this type of stuff for paid advertisers. Only be allowed to start a new ad thread every 7 days like it is now.

Ad another section for daily ads, place one ad a day and be allowed to update once per day?

Id pay for this kind of feature here.

No offense, I'm just stating my observations and my opinions. This site leaves a lot to be desired, it falls short when compared to the vast majority of other sites out there. I use this site just because it is easier for some of my local regulars to see my schedule and chit chat with me. I am also becoming more active on it because I am somewhat curious about other "locals" and MIGHT travel in NY more.
I think the review system needs A LOT of work(I'm sure you all know my opinion there), I think that we should be able to post ads once a day like other more established better sites, I think there are petty little clicks that gang up on people here, and I think that there should be rotating pics of local showcases in a banner across the top of each section like other sites have.
I have tried to get some local regulars to use this site and pretty much got laughed at and told that they would rather just see us well known traveling girls. I travel and am well known on other boards but I am also a big pusher when it comes to seeing your local ladies as well. If I didn't have all of my wonderful local regulars I would just move to Pittsburgh, it has a bigger better board and the hobby is triple the size as it is here. Well, actually, the majority of the local regulars I see are from the better Pittsburgh board BUT still, that isn't my point. My point is that they are using the better board because this one is lacking so severely.
I'm not generalizing about the losers at all. I have met a lot of awesome people on here and I think the board is amusing. I could never imagine using it as my main client pool.
IMHO(In my honest opinion) I feel that unless this board improves most Ladies will move on to the bigger and better sites that are out there. There has already been a HUGE influx of Ladies from E.com that are moving to and using Pittsburgh's site.

I have already gotten a ton of emails mentioning the clicks sucking and asking for a better site. I think that is a big clue to fix things here

ECCIE is good in some regions and not so great in other regions. I don't think the key to migrating is to get the ladies on this site. I think that the gentlemen need to branch out and check the national sites. I know that most traveling ladies utilize P411 and Date Check. This allows them to post a schedule when traveling just as Escorts.com did. Using boards such as ECCIE, or any other posting sites just allows you to post an ad. The other sites are much easier because it eliminates email tag. A gentleman gives you his ID and you can see all his info, he can see yours and you can see his vouches. It makes the process 100% more simple.

Also a huge problem with this site is that the "vetting" process for Providers and clients alike is pretty lax. Premium access can be purchased by anyone. No one has any idea who they are or what their agenda is. It is opening the flood gates for LE as well as really shady Providers to co-mingle with the good clients as well as reputable ladies. I am a member or other boards and becoming a registered Provider was a similar process as to what the gentlemen go through to come see us. I even had to give a Provider reference.

Something to think about: When Craigslist closed many people migrated to Escorts. I noticed an influx of not so classy people on there. It did not take long for that site to collapse. Now that Escorts is closing where will those people go? Here, there and everywhere. But one thing is certain, LE will be right behind them. If you open the floodgates haphazardly, you let in all sorts of trouble. That is something to think about.

The purpose of the site is to keep people safe. By having a "the more is merrier" philosophy all of a sudden things become sketchy. Be aware.

My last thought about the site is all of the negativity. I was always taught that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." I think that many of us have forgotten that golden rule. A community is supposed to support and uplift its comrades. Not taunt, instigate and spread rumors. It seems that the only things that are posted are negative. Is that what a community is? If that is the definition of community I would rather be a hermit.

The site is run how the people in charge would like it to be run. I don't think the problem with the site is the site itself. I feel the problem is with the individuals on the site. I don't understand why people would feel the need to kick people when they are down or be so negative. Most of the posts are the gentlemen taking shots at each other. The others are negative reviews about bad appointments or sketchy girls. I hardly ever see anything positive. Also I notice that 75% of the reviews on the site are of ladies who aren't even on the site. Why would I review be posted on this site if the lady is not a member of the community? Does that make sense? If everyone wants to review ladies from Back Page why not start a Back Page review site?

The whole purpose of the site is so legitimate gentlemen can meet legitimate ladies. The well established ladies on here get little to no respect. The gentlemen are always looking for the next quest to conquer so they can critique, compare notes and pat each other's backs. What is this a frat house? A true gentleman has respect. A gentlemen tries to help and support people who treated him well. Not here. Most of the people here just want to meet someone so they can say they did it. Brag and move on. Wow how considerate. It is not a contest. Have some decency and respect for the ladies as people. Don't treat them as a conquest. Providers are people and have feelings. I wish for one moment the gentlemen had to walk in our shoes. To see what it feels like to have every single flaw magnified. Doesn't feel to great does it?

Why am I in the business? Because I enjoy what I do. I meet many people who become great friends and are a pleasure to spend time with. Not everyone acts rude. I have a knack for weeding the garden. I do not tolerate sub-standard treatment, and neither should anyone else.
