Just in case this isn't a joke and you really are that unaware, it's usually to the right of the space bar on a computer keyboard.

You'll only find it on keyboards in left leaning blue states. You'll find it on the bottom of the keyboard and activates 'alt mode' whereupon all your online avatars change genders.

Just in case this is a serious question, are you by chance using a Mac? There is no Alt key on the Mac keyboard. You need to find the alternate key combination for whatever you're trying to do. On my keyboard "alt" is in small letters on the Option key. Also, there's probably a better forum to post this question.

I pressed the Alt-Left Key, and a window opened that said...You Are A Nazi

On computers and phones made prior to the '60s and earlier, it is a "Gen" key.

how is the Alt-key related to this hobby world we play in?
is it for those alternative kinds of providers & sessions???
if not hobby related, pls request mods move it to the technical questions forum.

While on Eccie, if you hold the ctrl (command for you apple folks) key and press "p", then IMMEDIATELY press enter that will often put things back on "preset" mode. You have to be faster than the popup after ctrl+p though or it won't work.

I've used that trick to fix things when I'm browsing ECCIE in incognito mode at work. And you're not kidding about pressing enter right after ctrl+P. Basically, just look at the keyboard and get your fingers ready to hit Ctrl+P and then Enter.
