Just inquiring about areas that are ok to stay in Baton Rouge typically I stay near College but I'm wondering is downtown an ok area to stay at?

Downtown is a great place to stay...several new hotels.

Downtown is fine. Parking may be a bit less convenient for clients but not unworkable.

Yes...it's nothing like NOLA downtown. You should be fine and safe if you choose that area.

Figuring out neighborhoods for cities I'm not familiar with can be confusing for me as well. The last time I was in Baton Rouge, I stayed at a nice hotel south of LSU and it seemed to be conveniently located. But it's great to Downtown is a great area to stay in as well.
