Where are the cool places to visit downtown or within 30 minutes drive time from downtown? The Nascar Museum is on my list, a Knights game is too. I'm not going to the Billy Graham Museum though.

Wake up, folks! This is a well used site in Kansas City and Texas, it could be great here as well!

Agree having spent a lot of time on the KC board, this area just doesn't have anything like that.

As to things to do, a lot of the NASCAR teams in the area offer free admission to their shops.

Frank, are you (or anyone else viewing) familiar with downtown CLT? I was walking up one of the more popular areas when a SW gave me the eye and tried to engage me in convo. I had the SO on bluetooth, so I blew her off. I thought I saw two others before her. None were the worn out Indep. Ave girls I think of when I think SW, these ladies looked well dressed, healthy, and happy. Anyone know if this is a regular occurrence? Maybe I'm just way better looking than I thought?
