Latest reports from the MSM says that GM is down 44% from the level where the tax payer breaks even.

I bet if you guys all promise not to make GM a 2012 campaign issue, they'll hold the stock until they can cash it in for a profit. So what'll it be boys? Profit or political points?

Washington would have to get about $53 a share to break even on the taxpayers' "investment" in GM. As of yesterday, GM stock was selling for a little less than $30 a share. There's concern that with rising gas prices, among other factors, GM stock prices may fall further as the year progresses. from the wall street journal. so yes, political points indeed.

I didn't think you could go to a dealer and drive a Volt off the lot today. Isn't in a backorder situation?

My my COG you have to remember the kid in your class who had all the toys why because his dad worked on the line at gmc or ford hell maybe amc you rember them right. But guess what they dont make 20 to 30 an hour more like 14 now that toyota should them the way. Just think about people make less now to make a car that has more cpu's than cams or vales. SC police drive bmw's. We are loseing the battel and the war was not even fought. Yeah let someone over seas buy them then our own hard workers will make 8.50 to make them.
Ps I dont own a car or truck made in the USA. NEVER WILL UNLESS IT WAS MADE BEFORE 77 AND CAN DRAG RACE
