Today's shitpost is about guys that seek to lose their virginity to an escort. I hang out sometimes over on r/hookers on Reddit and this is a frequent topic of conversation - guys wanting to know if they should lose it to an escort, what to expect if they do, etc. Usually seems to be pretty young guys - mid-20s or so. I can definitely see where it would be a strong temptation for someone who had gotten to that age without getting any.

I'm curious as to what the ladies think. Has it ever come up? What did you think about it?

Personally I don't think it's a great idea. I think it's likely to give an extremely distorted view of non-P4P sexual relations that might prevent them from ever getting into a real world relationship. Of course, some might see that as a good thing. But, if one ever did have hopes of getting into a real world relationship, I suspect that starting out in P4P might be detrimental to that goal.

On the other hand...perhaps getting it out of the way could build up their confidence for non-P4P encounters.


Edit: Sheesh, it wasn't the reason I posted this, but I went over there to catch up and sure enough, there's a guy asking about losing his virginity, not just to any escort, but to a high profile porn star escort, Kendra Sunderland. Just...wow. I agree with one of the commenters there:

I lost my V-Card long before I got into the hobby, so maybe I'm speaking out of place, but here goes:

I got into the hobby after a break-up that left me in a... weird place, emotionally. Not really sure how to explain it. My confidence with women was fairly low at that point, and the hobby has certainly helped me be more confident with women, as far as communication and, well, sexual performance.

So in retrospect do you feel it was a net positive or a net negative that you lost it to a provider rather than a civilian?

Looking back, if providers were on the net back when I lost my card. I would have gladly called upon one instead of some married women's pick up of the night. Although I wouldn't have tried those 7 hours for anything

It is hard to say for sure. After my first provider, I decided to see one provider every 3 months. I started doing this in 1998, so I have done this for almost 20 years. If I had waited another year and if I was brave enough to ask the civilian, then I would have probably never started seeing providers. I end up marrying the civialin so I could of only been with one person if I had done things differently.
