Yup, I do it. Pay a pretty penny for it too but am super happy with the peace of mind. Interesting aside, I had a friend ask if there were any free places to get tested because he doesn't care about the anonymity part as much as I do and I really couldn't answer him. So I figured I'd ask you fine men and women if you know of such a place.

Not sure about free, but planned parenthood uses a sliding scale fee for all their services.

Douglas County will do it for cheap. Maybe $20-$30 bucks or so.

There is a place on 40th just south of dodge, watanabe clinic i think is the name that was free, not sure if it still is. But one could call

Otherwise I just ask for one from my primary care doctor. They don't tend to ask when you're single or if you tell them you think your wife or significant other is cheating on you.

It's a good precaution to take periodically just like the providers many of you see do as a routine part of their life.

I think that clinic is around 40th and Pacific. They offer free or cheap testing for most people, they sometimes put flyers out in Omaha.

Douglas county is free for ages 24 and under, $15 for older. Takes about an hour.

You sign up, pay, they send you to a local lab that draws the blood, then you get results in a couple of days. If there's anything to be concerned about, they have doctors that can get you to the next step. For me, it's just been more about peace of mind. I need confidential, and not 100% sure my Primary Doc would guarantee that. Just too iffy.
