Misty's in Havelock is the standard, it isn't "high end" per se, although it is a quality chunk-o-cow.
9th Street Char grill is tasty and lower cost alternative. Working man (or ladies) kinda place, 18oz rib-eye for $28.
JTK downtown is more white table cloth. Last time I ate there it was good. I will not return due to their egregious use of "Kobe". They do qualify it as American Kobe, it is still highly disingenuous.
The Normandy is a French place in an old dive bar. I enjoy their Steak au Poivre.
Venue has their own dry aging program. They went nuts with it a few years ago where you could get 60/90/150/370+ day dry aged steaks. They've calmed it down and usually have 30-40 day now. IF you go sit in the bar it laid back and the staff is much nicer. I always sit at the bar, Barry the bartender is great, she is their bar manager and has really gone wild with the cocktails.
As for Lounges: Cliffs South (56th HWY 2) it's a former high end Scotch/Cigar bar that is borderline dive now. Staff is usually great and it's super chill, Scotch/bourbon selection is still pretty great, cocktails can really be hit or miss.
Cigarz downtown is good, really smokey though, nice whiskey/bourbon selection, cocktails are hit or miss. Same for Jakes, although they have a non-smoking side now, great tap beer selection, slightly better cocktails IMO.
Grata Bar (70th Clocktower plaza) super neat place, not as chilled out, tonight is Taco Tuesday so it'll be packed until 10. Basic neighborhood bar, good beer selection, cocktails are basic
Marz Bar is really neat, a little more busy right after work, outstanding cocktails.
Barrymores is probably the most unique place in Lincoln, it's an old backstage area. On a come back recently, have better staff, drinks way more respectable than they were.
The Other Room. Great drinks, served with absurd level of pretension (cash only, no phones etc). While ground breaking at the time, I really think places like Marz have caught up.

Oh man, if you are traveling you HAVE to check out The Other Room. The Mumbai Exorcism cocktail is incredible. A true hidden gem in the haymarket. If I could add to BaconLovers list it would be the Starlight Lounge, just a few steps away from The Other Room. Has an incredible list of cocktails and a sweet retro theme.

I love the Starlight lounge. Decent scotch list and big pours for the price.
