Where there's a will, there's a way. I work in IT. Believe me, the rate at which AI is advancing is scary as Hell. To create an android female simulant that is even, say, 80% passable as a human woman is going to be possible much sooner than most of us suspect. The materials science to simulate human flesh is here already. Getting the materials to feel warm is not hard to do. The component miniaturization techniques are already developed. Ppl may say that gee, we don't even have self-driving cars yet. Actually, self-driving cars represent a much greater challenge than androids do. Cars go very fast and are undeniably dangerous, requiring complex decision-making, maneuvering, etc. And we're almost there. Androids OTOH need a fairly finite number of hurdles to jump before we have them. All you need in an android sex robot is the ability to interact fairly basically with a human and then coordinate itself for f*cking purposes. This is not too hard a thing to accomplish when compared to coming up with a car that can process a very large number of factors while moving fast surrounded by other fast-moving self-driving and human-operated cars.

The market for android lovers is huge and untapped. Imagine if you really care little about getting the other person off. Most ppl do care but the overhead in dealing w/ another person when not in bed w/ them is for many ppl fairly onerous. In fact plenty of ppl forego significant emotional/personal rel'ps with others for this reason. I imagine a fair number of hobbyists make this decision, opting to just f*ck whores vs. deal w/ a woman full-time.

Why if you could pay once and f*ck an android as much as you want to would you keep coming back and paying a whore with whom you may have little emotional attachment, or if you have it, it's likely neither requited nor too satisfying? The economics of this decision is pretty unimpeachable. You'll pay once, if even a lot, for the android and just f*ck it silly.

Maybe not any time real soon, but at some point competition w/ android sex-bots will drive the price of your average whore down to the point they'll figure to just get an ordinary job vs. turning tricks. That is, assuming they can even get one, b/c automation is going to hit the world economy like a bunker-buster. It's already happening, what with automated factories, and now automated fast food kiosks coming. Think your job is safe? Guess again. NO ONE's job is safe. Especially whores'.
