Should be covered by state health care? I think hormone replacement should be for women men or what ever. Not sure about the reassignment. Kinda up in the air about that one.

I think the only thing that should be covered by any health plan is Hormone Replacement Therapy for both men an women who have experienced a depletion of the major sex hormones through either natural aging, Surgery or illness. If one is unhappy with their gender they are on their own. Health Insurance is designed to cover issues that are health related not aesthetic related. Same goes for plastic surgery, unless it is too correct a birth defect, disfigurement from accident or trauma that will enhance quality of life. This ridiculous idea that it's ok to align yourself with whatever gender you feel comfortable with apart from what you were born as is a mental illness and we don't need to promote such bullshit and Healthcare Ins doesn't need to foot the bill.

I do believe that any minimal health care coverage standards imposed and/or provided by the government should include noncosmetic dental care to maintain teeth, gums, and jaw areas: Reason .. a healthy diet is helpful in maintaining a healthy body and "mouth/dental" problems often prevents people from eating healthy food, because it hurts when they eat.

The typical dental coverage is almost nonexistent after dentists get finished with one of their "dental plans" for "better teeth" aka their next trip to Europe!
