Why I would never do well in Vegas

My weekend started off great. Got new clothes with my card that had more money on it than I should have had (see my previous thread for that story if you are truly that bored) Then, it went downhill from there.

I went on a motorcycle ride with this guy I have been crushin on..lol He looks like Thor BTW...LOL

Anyway, I have these awesome sunglasses and cool rockin outfit for the bike ride and am so siked... until we go for the ride. Here are the things you don't see on T.V. when people are on motorcycles:

1. It may look cool for your hair to be down, blowing freely down the highway but your hair will tangle up so much... you CANNOT brush through it ever again without actually having to cut parts of it out... NO joke

2. Great view right? yeah, until you turn your head and your awesome sunglasses fly off after leaving a welt across your face.

3. A nice drive throught the country on a GORGIOUS day?? well, with the exception of skunks and farmers who decide to do their ENTIRE fields with MANURE... omg SO gross.

4. There is a pipe on the side if the bike that will burn the CRAP out of your leg if your not paying attention.

5. Getting hit in the face with a big bug and swallowing one while trying to communicate how fun this little ride is... LOL

But still it was fun and I will do it again so off to the next part. I go to the tanning bed and get burned to a crisp but only on my back.. so I just can't sit or lie down.

Next, I call my teacher and leave a message.(I am trying to go back to school since I quit really young) and I am telling my teacher how I truly cannot keep up with the math part in class and that I am probably at an elementary school level ..(yes, its that bad!! ) and how I would like to see if I can do some tutoring or something. I get a call about 10 minutes later from my new boss (the job i start TOMORROW) she happens to have the same first name as my teacher~ yep, I left that message on my new boss' voice mail.

Last, I am suppose to start work tomorrow at 9 am. I am lying in bed right now with 102 fever.

And this is why I will never go to Vegas

Whoa babe, have a glass of wine and a bubble bath....you need it!

I don't do bike riding for all the reasons you listed. Add to that, the stickiness on a hot day...bluck! I am an indoor type gal unless it's Spring or Fall.

See now Michelle if you were to take me up on my offer you would be in an enclosed vehicle and we could have talked without bugs in your mouth, you would be able to brush your hair, you would be able to take in the sights, you would still have your sunglasses and I would be there right now to wait on you hand and foot while you lay there from burnt back and fever

I hate bugs!!! I might try the glass of wine and bubble bath.. sounds really good right now .. it cant be hot though, it will hurt my backside..lol

Thank you my favorite bunny.. I hope it will be. I am trying to think of which of the three things will get me fired first... the math thing, not showing up on my first day because I am sick, or showing up sick and infecting everyone... LOL

Put some Aloe in if you have some and that other stuff. It's some kind of salt, but I am too lazy to google the spelling ha ha. Epsom maybe?

Some days suck. Let me take you to Vegas. See the lights, some shows, site-see. When you get a little courage, ease into it. Play some slots. Go to a Black Jack training session. Vegas is fun. I'd make you forget all about this day.
