Arrested for Armed Robbery!
I just saw on this news this morning that three people (two men and one woman) were arrested for armed robbery. They were preying on people that answered their ad on BP and craigslist for sex. The woman said that they did one or two robberies per week for several months.
I didn't post a link not wanted to link real names, but I wonder if this woman could be one of the more infamous people that is mentioned frequently on this board. Mmmm?

Ummmm, why or how would it make any difference if a person is "outed" if their name(s) are published in a bloody newspaper or news site from having committed a crime? Especially a major crime!! If they're mentioned on a social page, for example, that would be a whole different ball game!
I'm sure there's some logic there to somebody!

Why? This kind of thing is not that unusual!
Some of the basic rules of the hobby are:
1. Never carry more cash than you're willing to loose, especially with unknowns.
2. NEVER, EVER bring credit cards!
3. Find a way to hide the keys to your Hellcat outside!
The odds of a guy being taken in so many different ways are a lot higher than a lady being taken or worse! That's the way it is.

#5 - Outing or threats of outing are taken seriously. Membership here is anonymous and for the privacy of our members it will remain that way. That means any effort or attempt to connect a person's real world information to their username on this board will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. This includes real names, employment, medical info, addresses past or present, images, criminal or driving record, etc. We expect everyone who participates here to respect and go to great lengths to protect the anonymity and privacy of one another. Reckless disregard or accidental outing will also be taken very seriously.
If any of the three are members of this site, leaving a trail or link to the article has been determined to be outing by the owner and admin staff. The penalty for an intentional outing is a one year ban and the penalty for an unintentional outing is a six month ban.
If you are thinking about posting a link to any article that provides the names of those arrested or involved in a sting, please think twice and consider recent decisions by the owner and admin staff regarding a zero tolerance policy on outing. Other than that, general discussions are welcomed.
A simple "golden rule" adaptation to use is, don't write or link to anything you wouldn't want someone else writing or linking about you, because it could be next time
This applies to those who are members

Noted, but are they members? Who are we really protecting here? They pose a threat to our community. Imo.

I've been in the hobby for less than six months and had two really bad experiences. That's me alone. Yesterday there was a post from one of our local ladies here that had an awful experience where a gun was involved. The powder rooms are full of those kinds of experiences. I think it happens to us just as much as the gentlemen. You guys don't ever hear about it, but it happens all the time.
I agree, don't take more money than you can handle losing. I've heard of reputable providers going south, so it can happen with anyone. Why carry your wallet in anyways? That's more personal information you're basically offering to them if something goes wrong. Same with your phone. My car has a keypad, so for outcalls I don't even take in my keys. Better safe than sorry.

Again this policy applies to members so these are not members... what part of logic am I missing. Logic is part of critical thinking which used to be taught in high school ethics at least in Catholic schools--okay I know. There is no logic here or even presumuption. This rule is not protecting anyone in this case especially the members here. ..As Gemma said if they're not members here post away the link/ In fact in a serious case like this the admin. should just verify they are or are not members .

I know what you're saying, I agree. In hindsight I may have used the word "odds" incorrectly.
Women partake more than men. That fact increases the odds. Somewhere in the computation is number of people partaking. If a man partook 10 times and was taken once, then there's 1 in 10 odds he will be taken. If a woman took 10 clients and got taken once, then there's the same 1 in 10. What is it when one of 10 different men get taken? How about 1 of 10 different women? Bottom line is we can toss numbers and odds back and forth when the final authority is what occurs in our own world! Perception is the dragon we have to slay!
Will tell you one thing though, I have never read a story about anybody habitually taking women as a hobby or living.
