what was the result? the "3 strikes rule" meaning that anyone who commits 3 misdemeanors automatically becomes a felon. steal 3 packs of cigs... FELON. 3 snickers bars .. FELON. this was the knee jerk reaction of Polly Klaas's father. his own grandfather realized it was stupid. too late.
