Depends on where you are located in Mississippi? I think for folks that live in the Jackson area our quick getaway is Memphis or New Orleans. Memphis for Beale Street or New Orleans for Bourbon. New Orleans has the taste of New Orleans this weekend, I think. But if that's not happening, I guarantee they have something going on. Memphis in May is going on in downtown Memphis. Destin, Florida is not too bad of a drive either from Central Mississippi. But it'll be in that 5 to 6 hour range, because of slow ass Hwy 49 and Hwy 98 to Mobile.
