Ladies, why post on SNATCH if your NOT SN available?

Would you ladies who post on the SNATCH sticky please explain why you post there if your not short notice available?? It sometimes can be hours, days or maybe never to get a response. That being the case, may I suggest posting in the Provider Ad Forum and leaving it at that? May I also suggest if you are going to post on SNATCH, please make yourself available on short notice and respond in a timely manner. The ladies input on this will be much appreciated and enlightening to be sure.

The problem with snatch is we are only allowed to post on there once every 12hrs,and dont hv the ability to delete or amend it after posting. So i may post in snatch,then 10mins later book...unfortunately we dnt hv enough control over tht area. It would be better if we could post,then delete if booked and repost if theres availability again.

Here's my imaginary timeline:

9am girl posts in SNATCH

At 9:04, 9:08, 9:10, 9:15 requests come in. Each person requires responses, reference checks, etc..even if the client says they have already met, this must be verified by the lady. Factor in other questions like, is XXX ok or on the menu, or whats the donation again, or the dreaded "I don't have gps." Yeah, it happens and it's a pain in the ass. Oh and you can't forget the timewasters...they are always a factor.

By 9:30 first appt is booked! yay. It begins at 1030 bc the client needs to leave the office, hit the atm and drive over.

This just "bumped" everyone else to a later time...obviously.

10:25 arrives and I silence the phone. I was able to book another appt for 12:15.

I spend my hour entertaining.

11:35, IF things are on time, I am showering, changing linens, and looking at messages.

Ok, so I eat a quick bite and relax for 15 mins and its time to crank the ac, spray the air fresher, brush my teeth or whatever and it's go time!

Again the phone is silenced and lets assume this one at 12:15 is a 90 minute...

Do you see the pattern? A girl working alone can't be short notice to everyone at all times.

I was ready at 9am and was able to accommodate two clients and finish up by 2:00.

3:00pm I'm on my way home now bc I have other obligations. Day is done.

This is why you guys are blessed to have so many lovely ladies to choose from. We are each but an individual, but as a group, we always provide.

Posting on SNATCH can be more hectic than you guys realize and it requires plenty of multitasking and prep.

Cashmere is right. That's the main issue. We get busy booking and seeing clients but can't update our SNATCH ad to reflect our availability. We should probably just have a simple "Available Now" much like P411. Those ads drop off after 1 hour automatically and the lady can renew as often as needed.

I appreciate the information and ideas provided by the ladies. Matbe this issue about being unable to edit post can be addressed and remedied. Simon, you created this thread, is this something that can be addresed and changes to the SNATCH sticky made?

I had no idea....I apologize for all the bad thoughts and (silent) grumbling over the years when I contacted providers on SNATCH and they didn't answer. I was probably 5th in line.

Can't this be changed to the way p411 does it? If I understand their system correctly, every "available" post is deleted after 1 hour.

Another thing is, just because a lady posts that she is available from 10 am to 6 pm does not mean she is taking appts back to back. She may just take the first two people who book. It just says she can accommodate from 10 am to 6 pm. Volume is a different story all together.

If I never got a response using that thread, I chalked it up to a lady being busy and I was just late to the party. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Not a big deal. Lol. In all honesty I may have used it maybe 3 or 4 times ever as I usually pre-book in advance.

I use SNATCH a lot, as due to my chaotic work-life schedule my "availability" is frequently unpredictable. Maybe I should post on SNATCH myself LOL....

I agree. Lots of folks use it I would imagine. Better that it's there than not.

Perhaps an amendment where a lady can simply post Schedule Full to announce that she is no longer available would be a simple way to note game over.

They could still post 2 ads on a calendar day but a Schedule Full is a marker for no furthered consideration.
