You know what I mean, admit it...
Why would young women *see* older men?
Okay, yes, there's the money. But I don't think that's all there is to it.
Not for most of these ladies.
I'm not asking if money is enough, generally... just why in the case of older men?
If you're a guy, could you do it... with older women, just for money?
In general, I don't think so, and God knows a lot of guys have posted on that (NOT lobbying against older providers, please try to stay on task). So why assume it's true for the ladies? There are quite interesting evolutionary and social dynamics, but not going into that now, it's not necessary, I believe.
Here's another dimension for consideration.
Benjamin Franklin wrote a treatise, "Advice to a young man on the choice of a mistress". It's generally referred to as "In defense of an older woman"... it has its parallel for the other gender. I think the older man's advantage is the same as the older woman...
Connection. And a desire to please. Wow.
How many (older?) guys have written about the importance of connection?
How many women can identify?
Okay, it's sex. Maybe just once. But not always, and even so... wouldn't you like to feel there's... somebody... on the other side. Even if it's “just sex”?
Younger guys, meh, maybe not. Older guys.... more often...
I suspect younger providers are less concerned with it, but even for them, it doesn't take long to start wondering... what now... find people you enjoy spending time with or.... what?
I mean, you don't have to love somebody to have sex with them, but don't you at least have to like them? More than once, anyway... ?

They are responsible (at least the ones I've met), respectful, experienced, wise, emotionally and financially stable.
I have been dating older guys long before entering the adult industry. I tend to connect more with them than guys my age. In my country (Nigeria), It is not unusual so my family is ok with it.

I would think that there would be many benefits for a provider to see an older gentleman. I would expect that that an older man or woman would be more experienced, more laid back, respectful and normally more financially secure. I know that is a general statement but I would suspect that would be the case more times than not. A lot of clients love young providers for the obvious reasons but many will not see younger providers because they have nothing in common with them and some consider them too flighty. That too is a generalization and a stereotype. I try and judge each person on a case by case basis and I have found gems in all ages and walks of life. Some providers will not see clients under a certain age for probably the same reasons. They want to be treated properly and with respect and I would assume have had bad experiences with younger clients for them to have those policies.

Long before entering the hobby I have always dated men much older than myself. In and outside of the hobby I prefer men over the age of 40. Even most of my platonic male friends are over 40 years+. For me personally I do relate better to older men.

You would have to qualify the term 'older'. My ATF is 22, less than half my age and, while I love everything about her, I never delude myself into thinking that she sees me for any reason other than financial. Women are not the visual creatures that men are. I don't think their "illusion of passion" is predicated by any need to like us. Wish I was wrong. I'm quite certain that she sees "older" guys in the 35-40 range and the dynamic is entirely different.

Just because a guy is older isn't enough, you are right. When I was 30, I only dated younger guys yet George Clooney is the sexiest man alive. The difference is if you are suave and sophisticated. I have dated the picture of total yum, but they couldn't carry themselves so it was a turn off. I have dated older men and my friends be like WTF... it was the way he moved, handled his business, intellectual dynamics and the way he turned his eyes at me at just the right times>>> land on his face...lol.
Hands are a big turn on! How you dress is too. Emotionally powerful with no ignorance or arrogance is sexiest of all. Good example besides George Clooney is Steven Seigal.

Lacey dear, I was with you all the way, feeling pretty good about my chances....right up to Steven Seigal.....really??....Steven Seigal??
I guess us "George Clooney" types would object to being mentioned in the same sentence with Steven Seigal (really?!?)

Older men bring more to the table beside their money and penis....they bring good conversation, some good laughs, and act like gentlemen.

In Steven's defense, he may be a terrible actor (using the word "actor" very loosely), but he seems like an awesome person. That cop show of his was pretty good (is it still on TV?)
To answer the OP, I'm also of the group that dated older (but also youngish) men before I got into the hobby. For all of the reasons already mentioned. Plus one that I feel is being overlooked, and the main reason why I don't see clients in their 20s: Older men are capable of understanding exactly where my mind is at (usually from a few minutes after meeting me) and are able to adjust accordingly. They are capable of looking past themselves and what they are thinking, and see what I'm feeling and thinking and connect with me. This seems like a nearly impossible task for most younger men. If I'm not super-mature, they can identify and understand that, and switch to kid gloves, without making me feel like an idiot. They just accept, adjust, and move forward. If I AM mature, they can sense that, too, and treat me accordingly. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and this one is no different, but I'd say this is the biggest reason why I prefer to see older clients. I feel much less pressure to fit into a little box he has created for me.

And here I thought NO man could know what a woman was thinking...even after years of marriage or knowing one another.

Wow Traci!! I've never been so happy to be over 50!! You have captured the essence of my hobbying activities!!
However, I have to question your credibility.... First, defending Steven Seigal....please!... and second, how did you get to be so mature, grounded, insightful and wise at 24 yo??....You sure you're not shaving 15 or 20 years off the old profile....nah!!

Haha. That's right. I'm on to you older guys! I know your game! Seducing us with your understanding and your empathy. I see you. Tricky tricky. Lucky for me I still know how to foil your evil master plan.
Thank you, love. And I maintain that since Steven could kick both our asses together he reserves a level of badassery to himself (yeah, I made the word up, just go with it. :P)

Funny no one mentioned many of the obvious reasons escorts can't admit lol. Hmm like older men are not as demanding and don't wear you out....they also tend to grade a hell of a lot easier in reviews.
Ever see a girl who the majority thought was hideous have nothing but 9's an 10's across the board? There's your answer lol. A 70 year old guy does not need a 22 year old hard body to make him happy... most think anything at least 20 years younger than they are is a super model. They are also usually satisfied with only one maybe 2 pops max.
Personally, I like the younger version and I am one of the very few providers who will see not only guys under 35, but under 25. For me the connection is better because we have some of the same interests, and they also kiss better! At almost 30, I am a Cougar to a 22 year old lol.
I don't know what it is with men over a certain age lately, but slobbering all over the place and sticking your tongue down my throat while pressing my face against stubble, is NOT proper DFK! I have stopped listing DFK for this very reason, because too many define it as above.
Do younger guys tend to wear you out more? Do they think they should get a discount because they are young? Do they sometimes fall in love or what they think is love rather quick? The majority yes, but it's a lot better than the things I have had to deal with from the older version.
Not only do I like young guys but I like country guys!! I don't know what it is with men from TN, KY, and Alabama but goodness!! The majority of men raised with good old country roots just now how to please a woman in that special way I won't define lol. I will use pipefitter as an example....our entire date he must have asked at least a dozen times, "Are you ok," Are you comfortable that way," "Can I get you a pillow for your knees" lol. It's stuff like that, I can really appreciate. Add to that they actually offer extended foreplay unlike many of the city boys who think escorts are too dirty to go down on...then why are you here lol.
They are also not stuck on themselves and don't spend the entire time talking stocks and bonds, and how much money they made that year...booooooooring! I find a humble, hard worker is the ultimate turn on. I don't need a CEO to swoon I suppose...been there done that, and I will take a Welder who has some roots any day!
So I guess my experiences are just the opposite of what most have encountered when it comes to the younger version, which is why I continue to see them.

I greatly admire older women who take pride in their apperance. They have a sense of self confidence that is visible, and that is a turn on. Unfortunately, as an "older" guy my problem with seeing women anywhere near my age is basically twofold: 1. I no longer achieve an erection at the mere thought of intercourse. I need to be visually stimulated by tight skin, flat tummies, proud tits and the ability for the woman to be able to naturally lubricate. It is not fair, but a reality that women (and men) are subject to gravity's effect on their bodies. I have no doubt that, visually at least, older women admire younger men for the same reasons outlined above (except the tits & lubrication), however women do not need erections to enjoy sex. 2. The energy level, the willingness to experiment, the ability for multiple orgasms, etc. of younger women.
