What Should I checkout while in Houston....
So, This is my first time ever in Houston, and I'm wondering what sights should I see.
Where's the best places to eat and shop, what's there to do???
I'll be here for a week, and I'd like to see I seen something besides the hotel...
So, let me know guys and gals what do you do for fun around here?
Thanks in Advance... Michelle

It depends upon what you like! If you can give a little help on what your taste run towards in terms of:
1. Food
2. Shopping
3. Non-work entertainment
I'm sure you'd get all kinds of great feedback.

I love Seafood, Italian, a Good steak.
Shopping I'm really not big on but I do like to say I checked out the malls.
I like to learn a little bit about the cities I visit,
so where can I go to see some of Houston's history?
Are there any good clubs, bars? I like a little bit of everything honestly...

Wayward, she is from OR. Don't scare her away. When I was much younger, circa 60's, I love the stuff they grow in OR!

That's a good question...I really don't know. Not my home town, I'm still learning myself. I do know there's a funeral museum on the north side...if you're tastes run toward the unsual.
I'm no local institution like my man, WTF! I'm sure he knows.

Thanks for the suggestions, and the laughs....
There seems to be a ton of seafood places... My kinda place.
And now that I'm in the Galleria area there seems to be a lot more to do.
I am enjoying the sun even if its not that warm.
