The bodies were dumped in Long Island...so it doesn't mean the ladies were working there.

They could be 'touring' do different cities...so we don't know much at this point.

So, Ladies on the tri-state area (NY/NJ/PA) should be aware and careful on their screening as always!

So sad , I hope they get who is doing this .I think it is strange that some of them were with a supposed driver of bf but you never hear about that again. I don't know why the media has to constantly call them prostitutes it is bad enough what happened to them .Maybe they met someone at a club or bar or worked for who is doing this. It doesn't always have to have been a customer , you would think they would trace a similar IP /# on all their phones or computers . But when they went missing I am sure LE did not care cause they don"t see "prostitutes " as regular people .

This is really truly sad. I agree, that the media and LE always portray us as "prostitutes". Although, I consider that term to be more for those that are lined up in a bad area of town on the block. Not all officers look at it the same, though. Some would probably be shocked how many clients are officers as well.

I hope that they catch this person and my prayers go out to their families. My guess is that it is a man whose ex didn't need him after she "got a life"; or, he has mother issues. It even could be a female who feels that providers ruined a relationship of hers. Oh wells, we'll leave this to the detectives on the case.

Yes, this is a good reminder that we don't need to let our guards down. I've always followed my instinct and it's sad to say, but I have gotten that "negative vibe" before and sent a prospective client walking. Ladies, even with your regulars you still need to follow your gut. I knew a client wasn't acting right once and sent him on his way. Later that day an alert went up in Austin and someone had been nailed. I was glad I went with my gut. The same person I sent walking was the one being used by LE. Be careful everyone...providers and hobbyists.

It breaks my heart, there is also an article on cnn.com which interviews the craigslist killer about the new serial killer, the guy said "This guy screwed up by dumping the bodies in the same place, I always spread mine out!"..... These people are sick, beyond sick....

I agree that we get treated differently bc we're "prostitutes"...sometimes I feel like there are people out there who prob think nothing of these murders because of the stereotype of prostitutes, as if our lives aren't as important....

As far as this Serial killer is concerned, the article stated that he targets escorts online, but it did not specify what site, and that he also gets girls that are working out of hotels....so ladies please choose safe, secure locations!

The Craigslist killer committed suicide last August. I do not believe he ever did any interviews about the killings whatsoever.

The evidence against him was overwhelming but he died before the case ever got to court.

Yeah, the alleged CL killer from Boston committed suicide.

This is a new set of "serial killings." Young women whose bodies have been found on Long Island, NY in various stages of decay.
