Watching all of this unfold right now. A lot of dead people, an no suspects at the moment. Is it terrorism? Disgruntled employees? Gang related? Left wing nuts? Right wing nuts?

Right now, all that is said is 3 or more shooters, well coordinated attack, attacked this center.

Cops are chasing a dark SUV as I write this. Shots being fired.

if this was the target, what motive would apply? robbery seems unlikely. well coordinated attack? that tends to rule out a domestic issue/work issue.

What we know so far:

• At least 14 people are dead and 14 others injured in a shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif., Wednesday afternoon.
• Up to three gunmen opened fire inside the facility — which serves people with developmental disabilities — and fled in a dark SUV, police said.
• The gunmen were armed with long guns and were wearing what appeared to be ski masks and vests, witnesses said.
• A manhunt for the suspects is under way.
• “These were people who came prepared,” San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan told reporters. “They came in with a purpose, with an intent to do something.”
• FBI and ATF agents are working to clear the building. About 300 people have been evacuated, police said.

it's being reported that the attack was on a holiday party. 3 possible suspected gunmen.


while it very early to speculate, this is tracking like an attack. not a robbery or domestic/work issue.

not likely. there was a event planned at this location today. it was apparently this event that was targeted. some sort of state agency. San Bernardino public health?

makes no sense given the scale. 3 heavily armed men attack a luncheon for the San Bernardino public health dept? only one thing makes sense. this was a planned attack and i'm going to call it a terrorist attack.

this simply doesn't add up so far as a classic workplace violence case. what's the odds that 3 people, all disgruntled in some way, attack the San Bernardino public health dept?

in body armour and armed for a combat type action? 3 of them banded together because they got fired?

it doesn't add up. one suspect is dead, one in custody. one still at large. we'll know more soon enough but the actions they took doesn't add up to workplace violence.
