Question Amarillo?

I've never traveled West (not even outside the hobby) before and curious if this is a good week to visit. Any interest? Also, best locations to stay while in Amarillo? Lastly, any really cool restaurants or "tourist attractions" I need to see? Just any advice in general would be helpful. I would like to make the drive worth it

Thanks

Pretty sure there'd be interest if you came to El Paso lol.

Anyway, I don't have any advice on Amerilla, but the few times I did pass through there I always saw a sign for bison/buffalo burgers. I never got a chance to get one, but maybe someone else could point you in the right direction if that tickles your fancy.

Buffalo isn't worth the extra dough. Main attraction here is Big Texan steakhouse (72 oz steak, not 42). Not much here. I'm sure you'd see some interest. I'm booked all week, so I'm out (sorry). Awesome reviews, Gorgeous!

there aren't any tourist attractions to speak of in amarillo unless you want to count cadillac ranch but that's just a photo opportunity that will take you a few minutes. the best places to stay are over on the west side of town in the medical district.

Stay in the I-40/Soncy area. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants to choose from in that area. as for Tourist attractions you could visit the Quarter Horse Museum, Palo Duro Canyon, have a beer at the Big Texan, Etc

Big Texan is over rated. Tons of stuff to do in Amarillo. Folks who say otherwise need to simply move to another town.

Whatever you do, don't come to Lubbock. Not tooting my horn but I am a very well known provider very height weight proportionate. Mao there aren't any red flags on me. My phone was DEAD is Lubbock. I had so many people tell me to come to Lubbock and didn't have a single call. I think Amarillo is netter hobby wise and midland was good to me.

Just screen like crazy pretty lady :-)

This is kind of a bad week to be in Lubbock. All of the Tech kids are moving back to town and folks are getting ready for regular school to start next week. Lubbock is a good hobby town. Just a bad time to be here.

Honestly prebooking in West Texas is simply tough to do. If I was told by a provider I had to prebook before she would come to Lubbock I would have to say sorry, maybe next time. It's just that kind of climate usually.
