Opponents of Backpage's "adult" section are quite vocal about taking it down. These same folks successfully brought down Craigslist's "adult" section.

How much longer do you think BP will survive until they cave in to the pressure to remove the adult ads?

You have a good point and I think it's possible they may cave. Thing is, CL was free to post and the ladies have to pay to post on BP. Whether that makes a difference or not I dunno. But, IMO I think it will since it's a revenue stream for BP and they may push back harder and not give up the fight so easily.

Another point is that I've seen in other areas (Austin & Houston Coed) there's discussion about the fact that Visa & MasterCard are no longer honoring payments to BP. AMEX had already pulled out a while back, so the girls are going to have a harder time paying to post their ads. There's all kinds of discussion about different ways they are going to have to try and pay. This may be the beginning of the adult ads coming down on BP, especially if many of the ladies give up on BP with the difficulties of trying to pay for their ads.

Another topic of discussion that came up regarding the CC's not allowing payment to BP anymore was: Will there then be a huge influx of BP'rs to here? If so, the concern is that this site might take a hit will all the BP trash jumping onboard.

If the end of BP is near...it just means the integrity of eccie will diminish.
I have seen a huge influx of bp providers and clients in okc.....and the lack of safety is a genuine concern of mine.

True, they might. But then isn't that what the point of the reviews are for? The quality providers will continue to thrive and the trash will justly earn their reputations which honestly preceeds them.

Very interesting topic.

Lately I've been seeing ads on girls with the no AA policy rule to where it's getting very dicey on to see. I try to keep a short list and it keeps getting much shorter.

BP seems to be getting worse. In that the providers are very ify these days. You may get a jewel, or a piece of coal. I have had excellent and very bad providers. But lately, a lot of bad, a lot of upsell, a lot of fake pics or pics that are way out of date, a lot of very limited menus, a lot of bad attitude providers who only care about the donation and not pleasing the client and then expect you to return for another visit or post a favorable review. I always tell myself to stay away, but always seem to return for one more try. You would think that I would learn!

I am not even checking bp anymore it's full of bs.

Because I am not there as often as I like and not entirely familiar with the West Texas hobby culture...I have a question for the gents that use BP:
what prevents you from seeing the Eccie ladies? Be it local ladies or traveling ladies?

Because there aren't any eccie ladies in Abilene.

The fact that there are relatively few if any permanent ECCIE ladies in Midland/Odessa and NONE in Big Spring. Even the volume of traveling ladies is low.

To complicate matters most of us work the oilfields from what i gather and we work long hours. Scheduling is a nightmare unless you plan on being here longer than a few days. I personally work a 6 on 2 off schedule with 12 hour shifts. Take into account its at night...my 2 days off are really 1.5 days off. Then add in RL stuff has to be done. If i can schedule in advance great. But alot of times i need the flexibility to just call that day and hope somethings open. That does not seem to be an easy option with ECCIE ladies although with BP there is more frequency and flexibility. The quality is just raggedy low.

Just my 2 cents.
