bbbj--risk?
I have always thought that there is some risk with BBBJ as opposed to CBJ. But I see many posts where BBBJ is offered and considered a Plus. Am I misinformed?? What are the risks, and, has anyone ever contracted HIV from BBBJ???

There is risk involved with almost any activity in the hobby. It really depends on your comfort level. The only real safe sex is no sex.

Agreed, hat or no hat, there is always a risk, but yes there is a much higher risk of contracting an STD with BBanything.

It's really all about probabilities. The big ones everyone worries about are HIV and Hep C, which need fluid transfer. For instance, probabilities raise if you have irritated skin, scratches, open sores on your boy... Same with the receiver, if she has open sores in her mouth, cracked or split lips, etc. makes things risky. The largest risk for the receiver is actually from the man's semen. HIV risk for a man receiving a BBBJ is negligible.
Some things such as herpes, HPV, etc. don't need fluid transfer. Even with a jimmy, these can be transfered between the outer area of a woman and the uncovered base of your little guy.
I won't even bother talking about chlamydia or gonorrhea, as they are easily cleared up with antibiotics. Just get checked regularly. If those were the only risks, everyone would keep stocked up on penicillin and forget the rubbers lol
To put it in perspective, with unprotected vaginal sex where a man ejaculates inside. Even if the other person is HIV+, the conversion rate for males is around 1% and females less than 10%. The rates for oral are less studied, but much much less.
And your risks just as high, if not higher, with the skank you pick up the bar vs. our lovely ladies on here :-)

As said here . . .you play in any way there is a risk . . .do what you want to, no one forces anyone to do or not do certain acts.
Wiether bbbj is done or not the same risk is there if other acts are involved (kissing, cfs, daty . . .) . . .so you either play or don't play and do it your way.
You can't tell anything from someone who preforms or doesn't (is she safer or totally infected with a reputation to uphold? . . ..does she just not care because she has it anyway or is she sure of her clean record and likes to play . . .is she ignorant of the risk?)
You can't tell anything from a guy (is he positive of being clean, totally infected and doesn't care, old school when there were no worries ect . . . )
Rack your brain all you want but bottom line is play is play and risk is there no matter what you do.

Hobbyists here practically insist on bbbj. I believe mostly because the man is less at risk than the woman during performance. I have always found this unfortunate.
Some major populations, several cultures, and obviously the Ranches disdain BBbj and are insistent on CBJ.
I say good for them!

I've thought that since the risk comes from the opening at the tip of the penis that a good compromise position would be lots of bare lickage without an engulfing move by the woman.
That is pretty damn safe if the guy has no sores or open wounds.
Having said that, I'm guilty as charged. I didn't know that's what you thought.

As one fisherman said to the other:

in one of my trips up north in the good old seductions days I had a cbj with the cover just rolled over the mushroom tip... Felt way better than a full cbj but still safer for the giver... I guess that's one option.

In case he doesn't answer for awhile, it stands for Covered Hand Job and is probably a satirical reference to a relatively expensive provider that specialized in those. It created quite a discussion a great many months ago.
and....duh. I'm a little slow. Welcome.
