My friend walked by the store at the Galleria mall that says "Yoga improves your snatches".

What the hell?

Well, I googled it and lo and behold I found that Lululemon has a thing for snatches.



I guess I'm the only filthy minded one.

Thank god I had boys and not girls, because they will not be shopping at this store.

There's a facebook link if you actually google my quote. They are kinda stupid.

Lululemon is notorious for pushing the limits with their marketing, typically in their email campaigns. This is just another obvious exploit of the double entendre around this particular phrase.

I don't think off ever heard of "snatch" associated with weight lifting. Had to Google that one... Gotta wonder how many people saw the slogan and didn't get the double entendre... Not something I'd want to explain to a kid while on the way to the American Girl Doll store...

If you search, what does snatched mean, it does come up as a weight lifting term. I vaguely recall hearing it in school. But if you urban dictionary it, like 20 words for vaginal come up!

This got me curious so I googled a couple of articles on it. The advertising is aimed at females who do the very popular exercise program called CROSS FIT . Cross Fit involves several olympic style power weight lifting moves, one of which is called "the snatch".
I don't think anyone who is not actively doing Cross Fit would have any idea what this means.
Lululemon is already getting big backlash from this stupidity.

Snatch is a weight lifting term from the early centuries. But in my youth some years ago it referred to pussy. No question why yoga pants are called snatch today.
