Open Discussion: Discrimination In The Hobby - Experiences & Reasoning

I've been denied by many a provider based on my race. Just now I arranged an outcall, and the young lady left as I opened the door, and later texted me she doesn't see black men. One could argue that I should simply not pursue such providers, but in upstate, particularly outside of Rochester, that severely limits my options.

What this topic is for is to provide an avenue to discuss the discrimination you've experienced whether it be due to weight, age etc. As well as for Providers to discuss the reasons why they don't see certain "types".

Providers have a right to see who they want, as does any private business enterprise. This isn't a whiny liberal rant based on fair treatment. Nor is it a call for blackballing such providers.

I'm baffled by the refusal to put forward the mental energy to judge individuals according to their behavior, and willingness to turn down profit due to perceived traits.

At first I laughed, but as options dwindle because more ads put "UPSCALE WHITE GENTLEMEN ONLY" or "NO BLACK MEN" or "I LOVE WHITE MEN, SORRY BLACK GUYS" or "NO AA MEN." my race plays a larger part in my hobby experience.

My confusion is further enhanced by the fact that I'm NOT American, and so this racial bullshit is confusing to me.

If you show up to a nice location and the person is well dressed with the donation in an envelope, you still leave due to "what they are"?

Please my fellow Jimmies and Providers, let's talk, because I'm confused, and honestly at this point frustrated.

I think its been explained many times on here in threads.
I know the bp girls have issues with thugs and guys argugin over pay seem to be more from black men then white men, so they stay away from them. their choice.

Me personally, as a hobby guy or personal life, I love white chineese black orange pink red

Be interesting though I think the vp providers on here don't mind at all, but let them speak to that.

I get the basic gist of it, but I guess two key questions are:

1. Why is it getting worse?
2. Why keep that hardline when money is there and clearly the person isn't a thug?

Can you describe a thug? How would a girl know?

I agree, the BP girls say that because they would constantly be in danger by dealing with young men that have no respect for the providers safety.
Its a dangerous world out there, you can not fault them for being careful.

No disrespect TS, but they have no clue when the door opens wether the person is a thug or not. And I'm not just saying black or white, cuz there are def white thugs also

I think that all providers have this to worry about....not just BP girls.

I know a few thugs who wear Brooks Bros.........not hoodies. You just never know.....

I hear you my military friend. Still, it seems I'm being defined as a thug based on my race. I don't speak like a thug, dress like a thug or tip like a thug.

When they open the door, or based on being on the phone, it should be clear that's not how I handle my business.

I can't think of anything in the interactions outside of race that lead to that.

Several times it'll be fine and they'll say they're absolutely shocked, as they thought based on our interactions before face to face I was white.

Well, I suppose that's the part I don't get. I believe if it was me, I couldn't work that way because you'd be throwing away a lot of money. Then again, based on estimated Provider income they are NOT hurting at all.
