Strange texts........

So today I got a text from 585-435-1510. If you google you'll see about a sight exposing johns. Has anyone received this kind of message? I only have given my hobby number to providers and one hobbyist so not sure how they got my number.. Is this something to worry about? Any one else had experience with this?

It's a scam site designed to extort money. If you're using a burner hobby phone, you got nothing to worry about.

I have read about it in Houston and Austin.
Don't remember what the story was, might try a forum search there though.

Yea, its a total scam site. As long as your real name is not "Peter G" and its a burner phone you got nothing to worry about.

There's a lot of debate on how they get the phone numbers. Some say they post fake ads and when you respond to them they get your phone number and then try and match it to social media for a picture.
